Today we are going on a field trip to the zoo! I'm so excited! Animals are amazing!

Luckily for me, I'll be able to spend it with Finny! My loving boyfriend!

Basically, everyone just gets to wander around until it's time to leave. Which is at 2:50, and then we will be spending the rest of the school day in our last period class.

The buses come to a stop and I'm snapped out of my thoughts. Finnian smiles and grabs my hand, leading me out of the bus. I blush as his fingers intertwine with mine.

The teachers give us students the run-down on what's going to happen before setting us free! Finny and I's friend group went off on their own after saying their goodbyes to us. Mainly us couples are going on our own to spend time together, as we will be hanging out after school.

Today is Friday, by the way.

As Finny and I walk, I gently swing our hands between us back and forth. He chuckles at me and goes along with it.

We first come up to the hippos and we laugh as it poops in the water tank.

I breathe out, still in a fit of laughter, "Ew! ¡Eso es asqueroso!" (Ew! That's so gross!)

Finnian laughs again, "¿Lo sé bien? Sin embargo, sigue siendo divertido." (I know, right? Still amusing, though.)

I nod at his response and we continue on.

We go around, talking and laughing as we look at the animals around the zoo. Finny seems to get an idea and leads me to a small gift shop.

He follows behind me as we look through the shop, and my eyes land on a stuffed doe on one of the shelves. My hand subconsciously reaches up to touch the necklace Finny had gotten for me the day we both confessed to one another, and a smile forms on my face.

Finny smiles and touches his own necklace before hugging me from behind, his arms around my waist lovingly. I lean back into him a little and close my eyes for a second, feeling safe and content.

When I open my eyes I turn to face him and fully hug him. He chuckles with me as he hugs me back.

We pull apart and continue walking through the store. As we exit, he tells me that he forgot something in the store and went back inside. I wait patiently outside, smiling to myself as I remember all of the fun times we've had together.

I can't believe I hadn't introduced myself to him sooner. I'm glad that I did meet him, though. I'm so lucky to have him in my life.

Mi amor. (My love.)

Finny comes back out and hands me that same doe that I saw inside, and I gasp with a bright smile. I laugh and kiss him gently, thanking him as I pull him into another hug.

We continue walking through the zoo as I hold my new stuffed animal to my chest, love struck.

Finnian and I go up to the money exhibit and as we step a bit closer, one of the monkeys jumps onto the fencing and grips onto it. I gasp, startled, before laughing loudly. Finny joins me with an arm slithering around my waist.

The day ends far too quickly for my liking and we herd back onto the buses. On the ride back to school I rest my head on Finny's shoulder, closing my eyes before drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

I wouldn't change this for the world.
