Lizzy wanted me to come over to her manor today for a sleepover, so I agreed.

I packed my music book in my bag, as I have prepared a song for her. It's not something people usually listen to, but I'm going to make it a thing.

Once I arrive, she greets me at the door and hurries me upstairs. We mostly just hang out and talk, her dressing me up for fun. When she sits down next to me, it's closer than any normal friends would, but I don't mind.

Yeah, I've fallen for Elizabeth Midford, my best friend.

What more can I say?

We eventually go back downstairs and I nervously clear my throat. She looks to me in concern and asks, "What's wrong, YN?"

My heart flutters at hearing her say my name, but I push that off to the back of my mind.

"I have a song for you.." I trail off, and her eyes light up in excitement.

"Really?!" I nod. "Well, come! Play it for me! Please?"

I agree and she leads me into the living room area. I grab the spare guitar I left here from my last visit and begin to play and sing.

As I finish, I look up and meet Lizzy's gaze. Tears are in her eyes and she tackles me in a hug.

"You made that for me?" she inquires happily.

I smile and chuckle, "Yeah, I did...do you like it?"

"Like it? I love it!"

"Thanks.."

"Almost as much as I love you," she whispers, and I'm shocked.

She loves me back?

"You..love me?" I mutter to her and she looks up, pressing her lips to my own.

"Does that answer your question?" Lizzy giggles, I smirk.

"Mm, not quite. I think I need more confirmation," I cheekily say, causing her to giggle again.

Elizabeth reaches up and connects out lips once more, and this time, it lasts longer.
