I've been watching her ever since I met her. Stalking, some might say. But I cannot help it.

She's beautiful, despite being a cat demon. At least I'm not allergic to her.

Her name? Rayne. Rayne Hallowell. I know, enchanting, right?

And oh, what a coincidence! She's a noble- like me.

Unfortunately, I've stumbled across some...obstacles. Them being my new rivals. They're all men who have crushes on my girl. Well, she's not "mine" yet, but she will be.

My first target—I mean, rival, is this boy named Alois Trancy. I've hated him for the longest time, and now he's trying to steal my senpai away from me.

I won't let that happen.

It would be even more unfortunate if something happened to him, now wouldn't it?

Yes, that would be very...tragic.

For him.

Rayne will be mine.

No matter the cost.

And Alois Trancy will be the first to be eliminated.

Rayne's POV

He thinks I don't notice him watching me.

I'm a demon, of course I notice everything that's going on. Especially if it involves me.

Ever since I met this noble who goes by the name of Alois Trancy, I've spotted Ciel glaring daggers at him. He always has this murderous look in his eye.

Honestly, I don't know what to think of that. I find it both attractive and frightening. I can't seriously have a crush on him, can I?

Real talk, though. I'm getting bad vibes from Ciel. Ever since I met him, something's just been..off. He puts me on edge, in the best and worst way I can imagine.

Anyway, I became somewhat close to Alois. A few weeks later, he disappeared without a trace. That was when I found him in an alleyway, dead. He was murdered in the most gruesome way possible. Well, not the most gruesome, but still disgusting.

I actually felt saddened by his passing. Angered at the one who did this.

"Whoever they are, they're a monster," I tell the cops, butting into their conversation as they had me stick around for questioning. As if I'd done it. This horrible deed.
