It's no wonder you fell for this energetic and fun-loving individual.

He constantly smiles and has an amazing personality. In your eyes, nobody could be more perfect than him.

You're walking around outside, just taking a stroll. When you begin to hear some voices.

You look around and see Dagger with Beast. You grow curious, as you see that Dagger is not smiling. That's your first concern, as you're usually not much of a jealous person.

A few minutes later, Beast grabs his collar and roughly presses her lips to his. Your heart shatters and you immediately turn to run away, not daring to stay long enough to see if he kisses her back or not. You lock yourself in your room and sob your heart out.

Feeling the urge, you cough. It's one of those throaty coughs, and it hurts like hell. You look at the palms of your hands and see blood and sea-green flower petals. The color of Dagger's eyes.

You stare at it, seemingly unfazed. On the outside you were calm and collected about the situation, but on the inside you were screaming. You cleaned yourself and your floors up quickly.

Sniffling, you put on a confident facade and walk out, acting as if nothing ever happened.

Yes, you have Hanahaki Disease, but you aren't going to let that stop you. Not from doing anything.

You notice that Dagger has been spending more time with you recently, and avoiding Beast, so you asked him about it. He told you that she kissed him, but he pushed her away because he doesn't love her back. That's why he's avoiding her.

Hearing that gave you a glimmer of hope, but it still hurts deep down inside of you as you recall the memory of watching the ordeal happen.

You suddenly begin coughing, and Dagger starts to get worried as he sees you spitting out flower petals matching his eyes and your own blood. He held you close as a form of comfort. Little did he know how much it actually helped you. When you finally finished, he assisted you in cleaning up.

He questioned you about why you were coughing up your own blood and flower petals, so you spill the beans. You tell him about your disease and he understands immediately.

"Who was the one who rejected you?"

"Well, uh...it wasn't exactly a rejection."

"How so?"

"Someone had kissed them and I saw. I didn't wait for the reaction."

"Hm..and who might this someone be?"

He had a feeling he knew, even feeling his heartbeat quicken and guilt building up.

"You.."

He knew it. He feels terrible for putting you through this.

If only he hadn't have went for a walk with Beast, he could've spent that time with you. Told you how he truly felt.

Dagger hugs you straight away, and you slowly hug him back in shock. He whispers in your ear, "I do love you, YN. I just never gathered the courage to tell you. I'm sorry."

Instantaneously, all of your pain washed away. You pulled yourself out of the hug to spit out the big flower, to which you grin at Dagger at. He smiles back and kisses you, which you melt into.

He saved you.
