"Darry...can I ask you something?" Dally questioned cautiously. Darry sat down in the chair beside the bed and handed Daisy to his lover.
"Sure." Darry said, slightly tilting his head curiously. Dally reaches over to Darry and placed a hand on his stomach. Dally stared into Darry's wide, shocked eyes as he spoke.
"Is it true, or not?"
~Now~
Darry looked into Dally's ice blue irises as his eyes began to flood, the guilt he felt before quickly erupted back to the surface as he looked down. He stared at Dally's pale hand placed on his raised stomach and set his hand over his. Tears trickled down his face as he looked up to meet his lover's eyes once more. Darry nodded his head lightly as he spoke.
"Y-Yes...I'm so so-orry. It just s-slipped my mind with everything going o-n, between you in the hospital a-and keeping up with my brothers and t-the twins..." He trailed off as guilty tears steadily flowed down his face, he squeezed his lover's hand tightly as they did. Dally looked at Darry as he cried, regretting bringing up the subject the way he did. He himself felt guilty for making Darry unintentionally cry.
The blonde reached over and picked Dash up from Darry's lap and sat him next to his sister on the bed between his legs, minding his bad leg. As Darry continued to cry, Dally pulled Darry into a seated hug. He let Darry cry into his shoulder as he rubbed soothing circles over his back, gently rocking back and forth to calm his lover. He murmured sweet nothing into Darry's ear until the violent sobs emitting from his lover turned into soft cries and loud whimpers.
"It's alright, Darry. I'm not mad.....you don't need to worry....it'll all be okay." He soothed gently. Dally kissed Darry's neck in a sweet manner and pulled the two of them apart, smiling softly as he kept his hands placed on Darry's broad shoulders. Dally kissed the remaining tears off of Darry's face, smirking as he felt his lover's face heat up.
"How about we celebrate, just the 4 soon to be 5 of us." Dally suggested. He handed their daughter to Darry before he searched for the remote control for the small Tv in the room. As Dally flipped through the channels, Darry shifted in the semi-comfortable chairs provided.

Time seemed to pass by all too quickly for the couple when it came time to go back home. Despite how badly Darry wanted to stay for longer, Dash was on the last diaper provided and Daisy was in desperate need of a nap without the noise of the hospital to keep her awake and interested.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Darry. No need to mope around." Dally joked at the end, noticing the sad look in Darry's eyes.
"Dally, I know that. It just sucks that you have to be stuck in here for months while the twins grow up and all. Soon enough the twins will be saying their first words, take their first steps, and by the time you're half way healed I'll be waddling around with a huge belly again. I just don't want you to miss it is all." Darry explained, kissing Dally's lips roughly. The blonde kissed back just as rough until Daisy began to fuss in Darry's arms. Chuckling, the pair pulled away.
"Goodnight, Love." Dally said, pecking Darry's lips beforehand. The older of the two smiled as his cheeks dusted a light pink from the nickname.
"Goodnight, Dally. I'll see you tomorrow." Darry stated, still slightly sad about leaving. Dally smiled and waved at Darry and the twins as the door shut, separating them from each other's view. Darry's footsteps were heard walking down the hallway as Dally turned the Tv off by the remote. Slowly, he drifted to sleep until he would be woken up later by the nurses and doctors doing rounds early the next morning.

I parked the car in front of the house in the street when I noticed none of the lights were on in the house. Two-Bit's car was gone and there was no sign of anyone in or around the house.
'Huh...that ain't normal for sure' I thought. Struggling, I managed to open the gate and close it behind me with my foot, I wobbled but caught my balance soon enough. As I walked down the pathway and up the porch stairs, I was wracking my brain for a reason why no one would be up or home at around 8:00 in the afternoon. Tomorrow was the weekend AND it's summer so everyone would still be up, if not Soda or Pony then definitely Two-Bit, Johnny or Steve.
I opened the front door and shut it softly behind me with my back turned to the rest of the house. I flipped the light switch on with my elbow to see no one in the house and a note taped to the wall.
"Now something's got to be up." I said to no one but myself.
