Dally woke hours later to Darry curled into his side, snoring softly underneath his hold. The blonde smiled at the sight. He always found Darry cute at even his ugliest moments, no matter how bad he looked. Eventually, Dally got out of the warm bed and made his way towards the small bathroom attached to the small sized room.

He was extremely excited to see everyone again. From what Darry had told him, the twins were growing like weeds and everyone in the gang now had jobs. Dally felt bad that most of them got jobs for Dally's stay in the hospital, but he also felt grateful to have people in his life that are willing to do that. He missed everyone and Dally hoped it would be just like good old times. He stepped in and let the warm water gradually wake him from his groggy state. It felt good to finally shower in a familiar place again.

Darry woke to the sound of water running and an empty spot next to him in bed, telling him that Dally was in the shower. He sat up slowly as a stinging pain rushed up his back, hissing when he swung his legs over the side of the bed. Darry picked up the watch from the bedside table and read the time. 2:30 pm. They had gotten to Buck's around 12:20 which meant they didn't waste too much time. But that also meant they had time to kill before everyone was home from work at 8-9:00. That left Darry thinking. An idea popped into his head, making him smirk to no one but himself.

Darry stood but fell back onto the bed when the soreness intensified, whimpering ever so slightly as he pushed himself back onto his feet. He stumbled into the bathroom, shutting the door silently behind him to keep his presence hidden. Darry crept through the small bathroom and stood in front of the shower curtain. Without warning, Darry ripped the shower curtain open and stepped in. He shut the curtain and turned, roughly slamming his lips onto his surprised fiancé's lips without another word.

************

Both boys walked out of the bathroom, towels around their waist as water glistened on their shoulders, back and torso. One walked with ease, while another staggered and held onto the wall. Darry internally whimpered, the soreness more prominent after the shower they shared together. He watched Dally from behind, the water glistening off his pale skin was a beautiful sight. At that moment Darry couldn't stop staring.

His dripping platinum blonde locks, wet and smooth pale skin, Dally's ice blue eyes with the new scar running down the left one, his toned arms and almost effortless abs. All of his other scars, only making him look tougher and hotter. The sight alone was a major turn on for the brunette. Dally looked what he was, tough and scarred. But they didn't see the Dally that Darry knew. They didn't see the care he could possess, or the loving look in his eyes when it was only the 4 of them. He loved both sides of Dally just as much.

Dally could feel Darry's eyes burning into him, no doubt admiring the blonde. He turned to see Darry leaning against the wall, his hand holding the towel in place while his teal eyes stared at him. Dally smirked.

"See something you like?" He sniggered, shifting into his clothes in the process. Darry blushed and looked down, he never liked getting caught.

"Sure do!" He said, a playful grin plastered on his face. Dally chuckled and shook his head, continuing to get dressed.

The two of them finished getting dressed, though one was slower than the other. Dally was done first, by the time he was done Darry was still trying to get his pants on. Almost every task he did was painful. It did hurt, but Darry knew by the time everyone was home he'd be fine. Dally watched as Darry's face held a pained expression. He sighed.

"Here." He said, helping Darry get dressed. Darry sighed defeated and accepted fate as Dally continued the action. Once they were done the couple walked out of Buck's and climbed back into their car.

"You didn't have to help me, you know." Darry said, turning his head towards the driver's side. Dally looked into Darry's eyes for a brief moment, focusing on the road not long after. The blonde took Darry's hand in his own and kissed it.

"I know. But it broke my heart to see you in so much pain, so I might as well help." Dally explained. He ran his thumb over the top of Darry's hand, their fingers still intertwined. Dally turned the corner, slowing down to match the new speed limit. The last thing Dally wanted was to get pulled over for speeding on his first day back, that and he knew they wouldn't be able to pay off the fee. Children sure do cost a lot.

                           ************

"Home sweet home." Dally said, dropping his bag onto the bed. Darry hummed in response, sitting on the bed as he rested a hand over his stomach. Life couldn't have been better.
