"Oh quit it! You know what I mean." I nudged him with my shoulder.
"Alright, alright. What is it ya gotta say?"
"Well...."
~Now~
"Well what?" Johnny questioned, tilting his head slightly. He was insanely curious to what Dallas had to say to him. Dallas felt a cold sweat form on his brow. He didn't know how Darry would react to him telling people since he never talked to Darry about telling the news yet. There was no doubt he would be slightly angry at him.
"Promise not to tell anyone?" Dallas asked, cautions for his and his relationship's own good. Johnny nodded, now listening intently. His interest was peeking every second it seemed.
"I won't Dally, you know me." Johnny shrugged as he spoke, a habit of his. Dallas licked his lips and sighed, attempting to make up his mind. He decided to say it bluntly, yet not too blunt.
"I'm seein' someone.....and they're having my kids in a few months." He muttered. Now was the part for Dallas to explain everything better, though he would do anything to not. Johnny's eyes were wide with surprise. He never expected Dally to have a partner, and he'd never guessed Dallas would have kids in a million years.
"You gotta lot more explaining' to do, Dall." Johnny said. His arms now crossed over his chest waiting.

"Whoa..." Johnny said, blankly staring at the blonde. As time passed, the news slowly sunk into his mind and realization hit him like a train. "Holy shit, Dall! This is crazy!" He exclaimed. Johnny felt so many things for Darry and Dallas. He obviously felt happy for them and their situation. They were going to have twins in about 7 months, of course he was happy! But he felt worried for them and how'd they handle twins, one baby can be a hand full, let alone two. He worried for the two and if they could afford it all. He felt scared that once the babies arrive they'll tear apart the gang or that Dally wouldn't look out for Johnny anymore. He mainly felt happy and pushed the other feeling aside, he didn't want to bother people with himself anymore than he already did.
"I know, it's crazy man." Dallas stated. He felt the same things Johnny did, but more. He felt even more happy than Johnny. Kids give people a chance to a better person than what they really are, and Dally needed that. Dally was also excited beyond words, he's going to be a Dad for crying out loud! He too was worried how'd the two would afford it all, one baby alone is expensive. Dallas felt scared something would go wrong due to the fact twins were usually smaller. He worried if they weren't healthy when the time came for them to meet the world. But Dallas felt something Johnny didn't, he felt content. Content that no matter what happens in life he'll always have someone with him, if it's the babies, the gang, Darry, anyone.
"So.....about all of this.....does Darry know you told me?" Johnny asked. He had a hunch, and knowing Dally you couldn't help but think. Dallas shook his head and nervously chuckled, scratching the back of his neck.
"Heh, ya he doesn't know. I wanted to tell you because I know you can keep your mouth shut unlike everyone else. When Darry gets home I'm gonna talk to him 'bout everyone else." He explained, earning an approving nod from Johnny.
"Ya, that's a good idea. You've got a point too. Everyone else besides me, Pony, you and Darry won't shut their mouths to save their lives." Dallas smirked at Johnny, getting one in return. By now it was getting late in the evening, the sun would set in a few short hours. The 2 could hear the roar from Two-Bit's car, signaling Johnny and Dallas to wrap up the conversation.
