Munich Residenz (Munich, Duchy of Bavaria, part of the Royal German Confederation), 21st August 1912

"I'm not gonna do that! You can't decide over my life!" A young boy around fifteen shouted.

"You're gonna do what you're told! You're just fifteen and I'm your father, I've got all the rights to tell you what to do!" An adult man yelled.

The adult man was sitting in a throne. By his side, there was another throne and an adult woman was sitting in it.

The man had short black hair with some white hairs now and a black moustache in his face. He had cold grey eyes fixed in the young boy.

The young boy had the same short black hair but spiky. He had icy blue (which were somehow greyish blue) eyes that showed an angry expression fixed in the man.

The woman had dark brown hair with some white hairs and blue eyes. She had her head being supported by her left hand, looking at the young boy.

She suddenly changed the direction of her eyes, watching a young girl, around eight years old, with the same black hair and icy blue eyes as the boy standing.

The salon only had those four occupants, which for its luxury was perfect for the status of the family.

Because they were the family Wittelsbach, the ducal family of Bavaria.

The man and woman sitting in the thrones were the current Grand Dukes of Bavaria. The Grand Duke Wilhelm Nicholas Ludwig von Wittelsbach and the Grand Duchess Isabella Eleanora Theresa von Wittelsbach.

And the two youngest were the only children of the Grand Ducal couple, the heirs of the Duchy. The Grand Prince Thomas Frederik Ludwig von Wittelsbach, born in 1897, and the Grand Princess Gabrielle Elizabeth Viktoria von Wittelsbach, born in 1904.

The relationship between the Grand Dukes and their children differed, depending on the cases. The Grand Duke and his son had a cold relationship, especially since the Grand Duke had gotten into his son's life. And recently, he was trying to arrange a marriage with one of the daughters of the Grand Duchess of Schleswig-Holstein. Something that Thomas hadn't liked at all.

With his daughter, the things were different. The young Gabrielle had the awful relationship with her mother. It had just a single reason: the girl was rebellious and, unfortunately for her mother, not feminine at all. Gabrielle didn't like dresses, make up, jewels... Summarizing, all the things a girl from nobility like her would like. The Grand Duchess had managed to dress her with dressed when she was a baby. Later, a four-year-old Gabrielle had refused to wear dresses, angering her mother. It was a luck that finally her husband convinced her to dress the little girl with sailor suits that are usual of boys. Unlike the Grand Duchess, the Grand Duke loved his daughter's personality. For him, it was like having another son. As the little girl had short hair, that arrived until the beginning of her neck, she could be easily mistaken for a boy. He had gave her a wood sword in her seventh birthday and much to his wife's anger, started teaching her how to fight. The little girl carried her wood sword everywhere. Luckily, she shared something with her mother: their reading passion. But that silent hobby was the only link they had.

The Grand Duchess and her daughter were listening to the argument in shouts of her husband and son. Until she heard something she thought he'd never hear.

"If you keep this, I'll end disowning you!" the Grand Duke shouted "You'll do what you're told!"

"Wili, there's no need to..." The Grand Duchess whispered

"You don't need to disown me, I refuse!" Thomas yelled in response.

"What!?" The Grand Duke yelled, getting up from the throne.
