Alexei woke up. He was in his bed, back in Livadia. He was holding Gabri's wrist who was also waking up.
The sunlight was coming through the window. Had the regression lasted all night? He could tell it had, because he felt pretty tired. But, inside, he had a feeling of calm. Had it been the fact of sharing a horrible experience with someone? Probably.
When he saw Gabri being awake, he mumbled a quiet "Good morning" which she replied with another as quiet.
Her long black hair was messy, but she was pretty, although. "Hey! Focus!" Alexei's mind cried and he blushed red when he saw he was also holding Gabri's wrist. He removed it quickly from what he could tell it was embarrasment.
But suddenly, he noticed reddish nail marks in her wrist. Had he...? Yeah. He didn't know that he could do during the regression would happen in real.
"S-Sorry" Alexei muttered. He noticed that his voice sounded pretty shyly "Does it hurt?" It was normal he was caring about it, it was his fault. And her getting hurt... he didn't want that.
"It doesn't" She replied shortly. She looked at him, dedicating him a kind glare that could tell "I'm fine, don't worry"
The next moments were the most uncomfortable and strange of their whole lives. The silence wasn't improving.
"Well" Gabri got up "It seems pretty late. We should get changed" She left the room while saying it.
"It's a good idea" He thought and got up, lazily. He nearly stepped into Shura who was sleeping near his bed.
He put the Legion's uniform on. He looked at the window and saw how his hair was a pure mess. He caressed it a bit until it was like usual. He smiled when it was.
He went out and saw Gabri's room's door open. It was empty. She was faster than him.
He found her in a corridor. He reached her.
"Hi" Alexei said
"Hi" Gabri replied
"You two!" They heard Lilth's voice. Both saw her coming to them "Why have you jumped training?"
"Training?" Both asked
"Don't tell me you weren't there when I told it?" The Atlant asked while facepalming herself.
"Suppose so. I had any clue" Gabri answered.
"Neither had I" Alexei assured "When did you tell it?"
"We had training at 7 AM and it's already past midday" Lilth said "I told it at the end of the dinner"
"I ate little yesterday night" Alexei admitted
"I did too" Gabri said
"Okay" Lilth said "Too many foreigners to notice you, unlike in Atlantis" She looked to both teens "But in the late afternoon, there's war strategy meeting" She put a serious glare "Don't dare to miss it" She left.
"If glares kill, I think we'll be dead" Alexei joked
"Totally agreed" Gabri replied
It was lunch time so they went to the dinning hall that was filled with everyone.
Alexei noticed the respectful glares from everyone. He was the former Tsarevich. FORMER. That ended in 1917, when his father abdicated. Oh yeah, he had to tell them about that, before the meeting.
The Whites started going to the main hall. Alexander approached him.
"Your Imperial Highness"
"Stop that treatment" Alexei mumbled, so quietly that Pavel didn't hear "What?"
