"His Imperial Highness"
Gabri couldn't believe that. As well as everyone in the room. Only Lilth seemed to be alright with it. Did she know it? Or it was something made up?
Mordinov got up, meaning that the kneeling down was just a respectful bow. In her mind, Gabri could understand what all the Whites were thinking. For her, it was something like "That old man is insane, he has just confused a normal boy with the Tsarevich"
Alexei didn't seem a prince, so he can't be... Well, she erased that thought. She was the exact example that people aren't always who seem what they really are.
"Are you sure, Mordinov?" The old man that shouted to the young man before asked. "Yeah, they think he's insane" she thought.
"Yes" Mordinov answered, confident "And I can prove it" He looked to Alexei "Your Imperial Highness, can I take your hood off?"
The Russian looked to Lilth, who nodded. They needed her permission to reveal themselves.
"I'll do it myself, thanks Colonel" Alexei mumbled. But Gabri was seeing that he was uncomfortable with the Highness treatment. He took his hood off, revealing the brownish blonde boy.
Everyone looked surprised to Alexei. The oldest, more. The youngest didn't know what was happening.
"He's t-the t-true image of the Tsar" The old man from before talked "He's a Romanov"
"So, the old man isn't insane? He's telling the truth?" One of the youngers said
The old men nodded. The youngers stepped back. No one knew what to do, until everyone except Mordinov, Gabri and Lilth, repeated exactly what Mordinov had done before - kneeling down - but instead of calling Alexei Highness, they said a cry in Russian "Боже, Царевич храни!" with the fist in their heart.
Gabri noticed Alexei uncomfortable with everything that was happening now. He remembered about the execution. "Alexei..." She thought, sadly, looking to the boy.
"In that case" Kseniya said "do you know about the garden's wolf, Your Highness?"
Gabri contained her laugh and saw Alexei doing the same.
"You're talking about Shura? He's not a wolf, he's a Siberian husky" he said, smiling "I think no one would have a wolf as a pet, don't you think?"
The Whites didn't answer. "They must be feeling pretty stupid now" she thought and laughed mentally.
"I know this is a tough topic but... Can we talk about the ex...?" Pavel asked
"Tomorrow better" Alexei answered "I don't feel like talking about it today" He paused "I'm going to see Shura" He left the room, Gabri followed him after the glare that Lilth dedicated her.
Both entered in the garden. Gabri spotted Sophie with some light purple flowers in her hand. She also spotted the husky watching her. But it suddenly turned its glare to the two new people in the garden. It put a happy glare and ran towards Alexei, jumping over him and making him fall.
"Shura!" he said, cheerfully "You've grown up pretty much, Мальчик" The dog started licking his cheek "Stop, you're tickling me, I've also missed you, Shura"
"How cute" Sophie said with a smile "Is it yours, Alexei?" The boy nodded "But, how's that?" She asked
"You've missed a bit of information while you were here: Alexei is the Tsarevich of Russia" Gabri said
"Ja?" Sophie asked, astonished. Alexei nodded "You're a prince like Erik! Good!" She screamen happily, but suddenly her expression changed while seeing Alexei and seemed to remember something "Well... I said nothing! I'm going to show this to Kseniya!" She ran inside
