A few hours went past and the sun finally had set. You and your mom were having leftover Thai. "So, I was trying to find a replacement for your book, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I guess they don't make it anymore. I'm sorry." Your mom said in a sympathetic tone. You sparked up...Your book! You forgot it at the mall. You totally forgot about until now. You looked at your mother and smirked.
"Don't worry about it."
"Really?"
"Ya, it's ok...I'll be ok." Your mother smiled and placed her plate in the sink. She walked over to you.
"Alright, I'm going to take a shower and then I'm going to sleep. Goodnight, darling." She kissed your head and walked upstairs. After she was gone, You ran to your room and threw yourself towards the edge of your bed. You started to cry, how could you lose the book? A few seconds later, there was a tapping at your window. You looked up to see your owl friend with a note in his mouth. You got up to open the window all the way. You grabbed the note, it read "I wish the goblin king would come take me away, right now."
You looked up at the owl with a shocked face. You walked back to the edge of your bed and threw your arms onto it along with your head on top of them. You cried a little harder. Then, without delay, you spoke.
"I wish the goblin king would come and take me away...right now..."
