A BIG THANK YOU TOO

For helping me with the chapter! She has also helped the last chapter, my dumb brain forgot to mention her! She's great! Like REALLY great! Go read her story "The Forgotten Adventures" I was SO inspired by that story and honestly, it's better than mine. Go give her love and attention because we're all about that life! Hope you enjoy the chapter!

"What are you talking about? This is your home!"

"No, Jareth." You walked into the room past Jareth. You sighed and crossed your arms. "I want to go home, home!" Jareth tilted his head in confusion and walked towards you.

"What on earth are you talking about?"

"Jareth! I saw everything! That intruder? That wasn't an intruder! The way you treated my mom like that! How could you!" Jareth's expression slowly turned mad. He rubbed his face and walked to the window. "Why did you lie to me!? I don't want to be with someone who lies!"

"Y/N ENOUGH!" Jareth snapped, making you jump. "After EVERYTHING I've done for you, I'm not letting you go that easily." He then started to walk towards you, you moved back. "You're mother took the happiness out of me. I'm not going to let it happen again."

"What about my happiness, Jareth? Did you ever think of that!?" Jareth caught up with you and grabbed your shirt, pulling you closer to him.

"I'VE GIVEN YOU NOTHING BUT HAPPINESS, YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!"

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" You pushed Jareth away and moved to the other side of the room. Tears started to build in your eyes. Jareth moved towards his dresser and looked away from you. "...You really are cruel." He then slammed his fist on the dresser, almost to the point of breaking it. Your tears fell when his fist landed and the sound rang in your ears. Jareth didn't say anything. He didn't even look at you. He sighed and placed his hands on his head. You crossed your arms and stared at the ground.

"...How you turned my world, you precious thing." He sang, still not looking at you. You looked up. You swore you heard music playing.

"...You starve and near exhaust me." He turned to look at you. Tears visible in his eyes. He started to move towards you.

"Everything I've done I've done for you." Jareth got close to you, so close that he could've pinned up to the wall. You walked away from him.

"I move the stars for no one!" You weren't facing him. You just closed your eyes and tried to collect your thoughts.

"You run so long, you run so far."  You turned around and looked at Jareth with calm, teary eyes. He walked towards you. As he got closer, you moved back.

"Your eyes can be so cruel. Just as I can be so cruel!" You moved all the way back to the window. You stepped up on the ledge, making yourself taller then Jareth.

"Oh, I do believe in you. Yes, I do!" Jareth was hesitant but after a few seconds, he pushed you out the window, causing you to scream in terror. Falling. You thought you would die, but you kept falling. Falling into black nothing as these lyrics rang through your ears:

"Live without the sunlight, love without your heart beat. I...I, I can't live, within you..."

You fell gently onto your bedroom floor. You weren't in the underground anymore. You were home. You looked outside your bedroom window to see if it was true. It was! No labyrinth, just houses! "Mom!" You said in excitement. You ran out into the hallway. "MOM! MOM!" 2 seconds later, your mother came out of her room. She sparked up when she saw you.

"OH MY GOSH! SWEETHEART!" She said choking on tears. You both ran to each other, then collided. The impact of your run made the both of you fall down. You both hugged, only having the wall holding both of you up. You both let out tears of joy. The feeling of being in your mother's arms was everything at the moment. Nothing could compare to that feeling. You both sat in silence for 5 minutes, just enjoying each others warmth. Your mom let go of the hug and held your arms, you did the same.

"I thought you loved him? Why are you here?"

"After when I saw what he did to you, I couldn't be with him anymore. I never saw him like that. Why did you come for me?"

"I missed you so much! You left without any warning. I should've seen your pain, but I didn't. Then I found the note and I realized what happened. I tried everything to get you back. You saw the rest."

"Oh, mom I love you!" You hugged her again.

"I love you more."

"But..." You looked at her. "How do you know Jareth?"

"Remember that book your father gave you?"

"Yes"

"That was my book."

"Wait...Bu-"

"Yes, I know. I couldn't get myself to give you the book, so your father did it for me. You see Y/N, When I was your age, I wished away your uncle Toby. He was only a baby, and I hated him. I then regretted wishing him away and that's when I met Jareth. He said I had 13 hours to solve his labyrinth before Toby was his forever. I managed to solve it, and as you can see, Toby's safe." You hugged your mother again.

"I miss dad." she sighed.

"I miss him too." You both got up from your cuddle spot of the floor. "Alright, you should sleep. We should sleep."

"Mom...Can I sleep with you?" She smiled and nodded.

"Of course, dear." You both walked into your mother's room and got into bed. You both hugged until you fell asleep.

The white barn owl looked at the two sleeping peacefully. It then took flight. Into the midnight sky, towards the moon. The night was silent. Not a sound filled the air. Just the wind, swiftly passing by. The owl was never seen again...
