25 years later...

You are now an adult. All of your memories in the Underground were almost forgotten. Now and then you'll think of Jareth, but he was mostly gone. You have a daughter, Agatha. She is now 14 years old. She only has you for a parent. You and your husband got divorced 6 years ago and he didn't want custody of Agatha. You both never saw him again.

One day while sitting on the couch waiting for her to come home from school, Agatha burst into the house in a rush of tears. You hurried over to her to find in her hand a book ripped right in half.

"Sweetie what's wrong?!" You asked, sympathetically. Agatha sniffed and held up her book. It was "The Labyrinth." Memories came back to your head. You remembered not wanting to give Agatha the book because of what happened those many years ago. But, on her 6th birthday, without permission and countless time of saying no, your husband gave it to her.

"Why did you do that!? I told you no!" You said in anger at your husband after Agatha went to sleep.

"Y/N, She needs something to believe in! She can't live off of Cinderella forever!"

"I don't want her to believe in that stuff! It's all real! My mom went through it, I went through it, SHE WILL NOT GO THROUGH IT!" Your husband rubbed his forehead and sighed.

"Honey, we talked about this. It was most likely a dream. There are no such things of goblins and "The Underground!" Let it go!" You looked at him with tears in your eyes.

"...You still don't believe me, don't you?"

Snapping back to reality, you grabbed the book from her. "These kids at school just took it out of my hands." Said Agatha, still crying. "and I tried to get it back and and-" she threw her head into her hands and sobbed. You pursed your lips and tilted your head.

"Alright, come on now." You grabbed Agatha and lead her to the couch. You both sat down and hugged. She calmed down within a few minutes. "You know what. I think it's best that book is forgotten. It was old and not useful. It was just full of nonsense." Agatha sparked up and parted your lips.
"NO WAY!" She shouted, coming out of your embrace. "Dad gave me that book! It's the only thing I have left of him! And you're telling me to forget it?!" You took a breath of air as you tried to collect your thoughts and rubbed your face. Agatha just stood in front of you waiting for a reply. You looked up at her, see the anger boiling up inside. You shook your head.

"You have no idea what that book is capable of." You said softly.

"You know nothing." She snapped softly "You just don't understand." Agatha walked away. You heard her door slam. The slam immediately gave a flashback of when Jareth slammed his fist on the dresser. And just like before, your tears fell. But, you didn't cry out. It was just tears, nothing more.

You wiped your tears and went up to your room, shutting the door softly. You turned to the closet and quickly went through it. After a minute, you paused because you found what you were looking for. You just stared at the floral printed shoebox sitting on the closet floor. You picked it up and walked over to your bed. You cautiously opened the box as a rush of nostalgia went through you.

Everything in the box was from your adventures in the underground. You remembered the day you finally got home and being in your mother's arms. You looked over at the pot sitting on the dresser across from you. Another memory came back to you. You remembered coming home from your first day of school in a while. Your friends and teachers were so worried about you. You had no idea what to tell them. You knew you couldn't tell them about the Underground. You just lied and said you went for a walk and lost your way.

When you came home and went up to your room, you found a box sitting on your bed. On top of the box was a note. At first, you thought it was from your mom until you started to read it:

"Dear Y/N,
Today, I was required to clean out your room. I found these things and I feel thought you would like them. Hopefully, Jearth won't find out.  I hope you live a wonderful life, young lady.
With love, Beetleglum"

You were shocked at first. You weren't expecting anything from anyone from the Underground. You opened the box to find numerous things. A bracelet Hoggle made for you, a flower crown that one of the goblins made you, numerous stones and pebbles, and much more. You sighed, having wonderful memories come back to you. You looked at the bedside table next to you and slowly opened the drawer. From there, you grabbed a little black box that says "Absolute" in gold. You placed it into the floral printed box and closed it. You then put the box under your bed.

"I miss you, mom." You said softly "You would've known what to do." You grabbed the small white box and held it in your hand. You haven't opened it in years. You slowly removed the top to find a yellow flower petal. Removing the petal, you found a ring. The ring Jearth gave you. The ring that was supposed to announce the heroes that would beat them, forever and ever.

You laid down on the bed and held the ring close to your heart. You turned over in your side. The only words that echoed through your ears were "I, I I can't live within you..." You went into a fetus position as more memories passed your mind like a montage.

After a while, you sat up. You must show Agatha. You had to talk to her, after all, she's your daughter. You placed the ring in your pocket and walked cautiously to her room. You stood at the door. You raised your arm slowly to knock. But, you didn't. You resisted yourself from knocking. You shook your head and walked away from her room until you heard a muffled "I wish the Goblin King would come and take me away, right now."

IM SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE! Between school and writers block, I couldn't find time. But now I finally made it! I hope you enjoyed. But now I need your help!
