As hard as you tried, you couldn't sleep at all. Your mind was racing with numerous things and ideas. So, you got up to see if Jareth was up. You walked out of your bedroom to see that his door was closed slightly. You walked into his room to see him sleeping soundly. You started to quietly make your way over to the bed. Before you could wake him, he opened his eyes. Jareth stood up in bed and turned on a lamp. "Is everything alright, love?"
"Uh...Ya, I just can't sleep and uh...I wanted to see if you were awake but you seem sleepy so I'll leave-"
"Oh no! It's ok. I wasn't really sleeping anyway." Jareth moved over in bed "Sit!" You sat next to Jareth "So, what's on your mind?"
"I don't know...It's mostly because I'm in a new world and I left without warning. Like, how would my friends and family cope with the fact that I'm gone? What would my mother do? It's scary to think that your gone and have no way to know how people will react. Another thing is that I can't believe I lost my book, again! I don't know how but I just did!"
"Do you mean this book?" You looked over at Jareth who was holding "The Labyrinth." "I knew you were going to lose it again, so I made another one!" You grabbed the book from Jareth's hands and brought it close to you. You then laid down in a fetus position and just held the book, you are not going to lose it this time.
"Thank you so much." Jareth smiled at you.
"No problem. Now, I would stop worrying about other people. They are going to be fine, trust me." You nodded
"I trust you." Jareth then laid next to you and for the rest of the night you both talked about nonsense things and giggled at jokes until you both fell asleep.
