Jearth twirled you around the room. This was certainly not what you imagined when he said "Let's dance." You didn't think he would take it literally. No matter how hard you tried to get out, he wouldn't let go. Suddenly, everything in the room started to disappear. The faster you danced, the faster everything started to look different. The room slowly turned orange and pink. So bizarre. The room was just orange and pink and the floor was white. After struggling for too long, you finally broke free from Jearth. You immediately regretted that decision because once you were free, your started to fall. "Oh! Not again!" You screamed, trying to comprehend what was going to happen next. Thankfully, you were spared. You landed softly on the ground. You rubbed your eyes, you were dizzy. You stood up slowly to find the Labyrinth. You surveyed the area and look up at the sky. The sun was slowly rising. Orange, pink, and white.

You knew what you had to do. You took a deep breath. "I can beat this labyrinth. If my mom can do it, I can do it too."

Running down the hill towards the gate of the Labyrinth, you got hit with memories of when your mom told you stories about the Labyrinth.
~~~~~~
3 days after you left the underground, you were sitting on the couch with your mom trying to catch up. She was telling you the story of how she saved Toby. You both sat criss cross across from each other.
"Ludo and Sir Didymus?" You said confused. "I don't think I met them."
"Well, Hoggle said that Sir Didymus is guarding a different castle and I don't know where Ludo is."
"Huh! Ya I never met them."
"Oh! I wish you could've met them! They were so nice! Anyway, when we got to the castle, before I got to the Escher room, I told them that I need to go in by myself. And they asked me if I should need them, and I told them I'll call. And you know what? I did. Whenever I need to talk to someone or just wanted a friend, I called them. It was my last source of magic from the Underground."
"Anytime? From like, your home? They would just be there for you?"
"Yes!"
"Do you still call them?"
"Oh no. I stopped calling them once I became an adult."
You tilted your head "why?"
"I grew up! I didn't need them anymore. You kinda forget about that stuff."
"Do you think you can still call them?"
"I doubt it. Again, I haven't called them in years. They would probably ignore my call."
"Well. Can you try?" You mom looked at you a smirked. Then sighed.
"I can try. Close your eyes and keep them closed until I say so."
You closed your eyes and waited. Your mom sighed again and closed her eyes. It was dead silent in the house. After that moment, your mom spoke.
"Hoggle, Sir Didymus, Ludo, I should need you." It was still silent. Your mom opened her eyes to find no one there. Tears started to form in her eyes, although she's an adult, to have her friends ignore her call was heartbreaking. She quickly wiped them away. "You can open your eyes honey." You opened your eyes. "I told you so." You looked around the room. No one was there. You looked at your mom, her expression was enough to show how she felt. And then you thought of something.
"Mom, Jearth said that you have to leave the underground without me. Meaning, you loss all power to go back." Your mom raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, I guess you're right."
"But, I still have some power left. Can I try?"
"Well. I see why not." You both closed your eyes once again. You took a deep breath.
"Hoggle, Sir Didymus, Ludo, I should need you." It was silent again. Just the sound of your breathing was filling the room...
"My lady! One did not tell to have a mini thou!"
You finally reached the gate of the Labyrinth. You didn't need to ask, it was just there. You walked in, and looked at the two long hallways. Knowing what your mother has told you, you went right, picking up two sticks in the process. You knew there was going to be a hole in the wall somewhere, so you dragged the sticks against the wall as you walked down the hallway.
About 10 minutes, what seemed like forever, you found an opening on the left side of the wall. You smiled and walked but before you could make a decision on where to go from there, a little man popped out of no where.
"STOP! You may not pass!" The man had pointy ears and a pointy nose, he held a cane and wore a little hat. You backed up. "What is a bell that does not ring yet it's knell makes the angels sing?"
"I'm sorry?"
"WRONG!" The hole closed up before you could even say anything. You stood there confused.
"What just happened?"
OMG OK IM SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN FOREVER! I've been really busy! But I'm back! Please send me more riddles! It will help me a lot!
