I walked into the cave Thornbush had brought us to with a small pile of wood in my arms. Thornbush was behind me with the rest of the wood on her back. She had brought us here, saying that this entire island was inhabited by only dragons. As we walked into the cave, I looked over at the unconscious dragon hunter that we had kidnapped.

"Come on. That fire isn't gonna start itself." Thornbush stated, flicking me with the tip of her tail as she passed. I chuckled a little before dumping my pile of wood a ways away from hers and stood back as she blasted her pile with fire.

"That should give us enough light and warmth." I stated, as Thornbush sat down. I sat down, my back leaning against her scaly body and the fire in front of me.

"Shouldn't we have taken his weapons?" Thornbush asked, glancing at Viggo.

"We'll be fine. He won't be willing to fight a dragon and a master dragon trainer." I explained, grabbing a stick and poking the fire with it.

"Can we at least tie him up?" Thornbush asked.

"It almost sounds like you're scared of him." I remarked, playfully. Thornbush huffed before lying her head on the ground and wrapping her tail around me. She tried her best not to fall asleep, but failed miserably when her eyes lazily closed and she started to snore softly. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a piece of wood from my pile before throwing it into the fire. I look outside the cave to see it had started to rain. "Great." I muttered, cuddling into Thornbush's warm scaly body as a cold breeze blew through. My eyes traveled over to Viggo when I saw him shiver slightly in his unconsciousness. I kind of felt bad for him, but I didn't want to get close to him in case he woke up. I did a quick debate before sighing in defeat as my kindness took over and I got up. At my sudden movement, Thornbush awoke quickly and looked at me as I walked to the other side of the cave towards Viggo.

"What are you doing?!" Thornbush hissed.

"He's going to die of the freezing temperature if I don't do something." I explained. Thornbush huffed at my decision before coming over to help me. She grabbed Viggo by the tunic again and dragged him over to our side of the cave. She then curled up again and I leaned Viggo's back against her before sitting down myself. I made sure to keep far away from the hunter, knowing what he was capable of. After a while, I climbed on top of Thornbush's back, feeling safer on top of the Nadder instead of next to the hunter. Before long, I was asleep as well.
