"What exactly are we looking for again?" Snotlout asked for the hundredth time. At least, that's what it felt like.

"Any sign of the gold." Storm answered with a groan.

"Or Viggo's men." I added, reminding them that if we find Viggo's men, we find the gold. We hoped anyway. For a while, Snotlout actually stayed silent, him and Hookfang searching around trees and under rocks.

"Not over here. Not there. Whoa! Look at that!"

"What?"

"It's not over there!" Snotlout finished.

"You're a real prick, you know that?" Storm hissed, Starfire growling in agreement with her rider.

"Good. We know where the gold isn't." I sighed. Where could he have hidden it?

"Melia, come here." Lilac called. I glanced up at her to see she was crouched atop a hill, watching something on the other side. I quickly climbed the hill and followed her gaze to see a couple of hunters wheeling carts of supplies. I turned towards Storm and Snotlout, waving them over. They both climbed off their dragons and perched themselves on either side of me on the hill.

"What are they doing?" Storm asked, glancing at me.

"I don't know." Suddenly, Snotlout took deep inhalations, as if he were trying to hold in a sneeze. Storm quickly reached over and plugged his nose keeping him from actually sneezing.

"Hookfang?" Starfire suddenly asked, drawing my attention to Snotlout's Nightmare. In just a few short seconds, Hookfang sneezed, letting out a small puff of flame.

"Crap." I murmured glancing down at the hunters to see them look up at us before dropping their carts and bolting. "After them." I jumped up and ran down the hill, Storm by my side while Snotlout followed on Hookfang, Starfire and Lilac following close behind as well. We followed the hunters, almost catching up to them when a net came up from under my feet and Storm's, trapping us in a rope prison that hung from a tree. Not a minute later, Starfire and Lilac were caught in one net while Snotlout and Hookfang were caught in another, all of them dropping to the ground like flies. "No!" I cried, Storm and I both struggling against the ropes surrounding us.

"Well, look at this." We both looked up at the sound of Ryker's voice. I growled at him as he looked up at us with a triumphant smirk. "Seems we've caught not one insect, but three, boys." The hunters we'd been chasing came out from their hiding spots to stand beside Ryker.

"Leave her alone, Ryker, or I swear I'll chop you into tiny pieces and feed you to my dragon!" Storm growled, struggling to get free of the net's hold. Ryker laughed.

"There's one tiny problem with that, Storm. Your trapped while I have full access to my swords." Storm didn't listen and continued to struggle. "Cut them down and bring them to the ship, boys. I have another group of riders to round up." Ryker said, walking off.

"Ryk! You leave them alone, you stupid piece of yak dung!" I called after him. I could see that what I said had pissed him off, but he ignored me and continued walking, leaving us with the hunters. Once Storm and I were cut down from the tree, they threw Storm and Snotlout into a dragon proof cage, Lilac, Starfire, and Hookfang all following the same fate however, each were thrown in separate cages while the Jorgenson siblings were thrown in the same cage. Instead of being thrown in a cage, the hunters tied my wrists with rope and guided me onto the main ship while the others were brought to a separate ship.

"Melia!" both Storm and Lilac called after me.

"I'll be fine." I called back before having my head pushed down as I was forced onto my knees. I shook my head forcefully out of the hunter's grasp, glaring at him over my shoulder.

"That's enough." I glanced in front of me still keeping my head down. I grinned slightly, recognizing the boots of the person in front of me before bringing my face back to neutral. Viggo crouched down in front of me and grabbed my chin, gently forcing me to look up at him. I stared at him with a cold look, knowing that just in case any of the riders were looking at us, I'd have to look like I was being tough. I jerked my head away from his touch and lunges forward, snapping my teeth at his fingers. Luckily, he pulled away in time, the hunter behind me grabbing my ponytail, pulling my head back as Viggo stood, trying to keep me from doing a bold move like that again. "Take her to my chambers." Viggo ordered before glancing down at me, giving me a sinister smirk. I growled in response as the hunter tugged me to my feet and pushed me down to the lower deck, leading me to the captain's quarters.

"Sorry for being so rough by the way." the hunter apologized, standing in the doorway.

"That's alright. It's the only way to fool the guys into thinking I'm not on your side." I assured him. He nodded before leaving, closing the door behind him. I glanced around the room, noticing two chairs sitting in front of his desk. I decided to sit in one of the chair while I waited. About ten minutes passed before Viggo finally walked into the room, an impressed smile on his face.

"Your acting was fantastic, my dear." Viggo praised, walking over to stand in front of me.

"I try." Viggo chuckled, leaning down to press a kiss to my forehead before going behind his desk. Suddenly, the door opened and Ryker walked in, pushing Hiccup into the room. Hiccup glanced over at me before focusing back on Viggo.

"Please. Sit." Viggo said to Hiccup, gesturing to the other seat in front of his desk.

"I'll stand." Ryker drew his sword and threatened Hiccup with it, holding it to Hiccup's throat.

"Forgive my brother. He doesn't understand the concept of savoring victory." Viggo remarked, sitting down in his own seat. Ryker growled at his brother, sheathing his sword as he stood behind Hiccup, making sure neither me or Hiccup ran. "You and your dragon riders could have spent months searching that island and you'd never find my gold." Viggo remarked, gesturing to a map of the island that hung on the wall behind him. I glanced at the map, noticing something that I'm sure Hiccup saw too.

"I don't know. We're a pretty smart group. If you'd given us an hour more before capturing us, we'd have found the gold and left the island before you even went through with this little plan of yours." I said, smirking as I saw Ryker become irritated.

"She's right. You never know. We might just surprise you when you least expect it." Viggo smirked.

"You're referring to your impending rescue? Don't count on it." Viggo remarked, chuckling sinisterly.

"Give it time. They'll come for us." I snarled. Ryker threw a knife at my head, the blade just grazing my ear before lodging itself into the wall behind me. I glared at Ryker and he glared right back. Viggo opened his mouth, looking like he was about to say something when, all of a sudden, the boat shook slightly, grabbing our attention as a thud was heard from outside.

"Look, there are your friends now, coming to save you. Such loyalty. I can hardly keep my own brother focused and on task." Ryker turned towards Viggo, glaring at his younger brother for what he'd just said.

"What are you getting at, Viggo?" Viggo stood from his chair and leisurely walked up to me, stepping up beside my chair, putting a hand on my shoulder as he spoke.

"Do you really think, after all we've been through, I'd expose myself without some added protection?" Viggo asked. I jerked my shoulder, trying to make it look like I was trying to get out of his grip, but Viggo just moved his hand to the back of my neck, his grip painfully strong. I winced, grinding my teeth in pain. I turned my gaze to Hiccup who was looking between me and Viggo, a mixture of worry and anger in his eyes as his hands clenched into fists in his lap. "You two are about to have a front row seat for the deaths of your rider friends and their dragons." I gave Hiccup a scared look. Viggo wouldn't actually hurt the guys... Would he?

<Dun duh duuuuuuuuh!!! Sorry, but I love cliffhangers. First off, I want to say that I noticed after a while that Storm and Melia are like me and Storm's creator, A.K.A. "Lizard" from my "Truth or Dare" book. Storm is a, excuse my language, bada** woman that is one of the bestest friends you could ever have and, to Melia, she is like the younger sister she never had, all the things "Lizard" is to me. Also, I think Viggo was foreshadowing to the "Shell Shocked" episodes when he said he couldn't keep Ryker under control. Love all of you guys! Thanks for reading my story! Bye, bye!>
