Weeks have passed since I last saw Viggo. I had brought him back to his group of hunters before flying back to the Edge with Thornbush. I didn't tell them about the happenings with Viggo on the island. All I told them was that I had escaped with Thornbush's help. I'm not entirely sure what Viggo told Ryker about our time together, but I knew we would see each other again. Thornbush kept our adventure with the hunter from the other dragons. After a week, the guys stopped asking questions and they left me to do my stuff. Everything went back to normal. Well... sort of. Dagur turned up on the Edge wanting to learn how to fly a dragon, so he could find Heather. Heather came back with Snotlout later on from a scouting mission to find Dagur in the clubhouse. We then locked him in the stables with his male, green Gronckle named Shatter Master which ended in him escaping and later dying because he wanted to prove that the ships Viggo had near an island were a trap. After that, Heather found a letter from Dagur in her room and I ended up getting a letter from Viggo via Terror mail. Both talking about an auction that was to be held soon, but mine held an invitation to join Viggo during the auction. I was kind of happy that I was going to see Viggo again, but also troubled because I was going to have to hide myself among the hunters in order for the riders not to see me. Finally, I settled on the excuse of doing a yearly visit to a dragon friend and I wouldn't be back in time to help sabotage the auction. A couple days before the auction, I changed into a black tunic and pants, painted black markings onto my face, put black fingerless gloves on my hands to cover my tattoo, threw a black cloak over my shoulders, and flew to the island where the auction was to be held on a green, male Changewing named Leafblender. I had Leafblender land in a forest not too far from the auction. Leafblender cloaked himself before I walked through the forest, carefully avoiding dragon traps. After a few minutes, I came upon a long line of dragon proof cages, each having a dragon in it, some having canvases over them. The voices of all the caged dragons bombarded my ears as I walked by, a painful headache blooming inside my brain. The headache got worse the farther I went causing me to stop and lean against a covered cage for balance.

"What do you think you're doing?" a gruff voice asked. A strong hand gripped my upper arm making me turn my head to see the person I was hoping I wasn't going to see for the longest time. "I won't ask again! What do you think you're doing?" Ryker growled.

"I was... I was just..." I started, but the headache was making it very difficult to think straight.

"What's going on here?" Viggo asked as he came up from behind Ryker. Ryker turned towards his brother, his tight grip never loosening.

"Nothing. Just dealing with a little problem." Ryker answered. I weakly tried to free myself of his grip, but it only ended in Ryker strengthening his grip. I looked up at Viggo, our eyes locking briefly before I closed mine in hope of getting some relief from my splitting headache.

"Well then, I'm sure you won't mind me taking over from here while you go back to strengthening our defenses." Viggo said. I heard Ryker grumble something under his breath before his grip on my arm was replaced by a gentler one. We walked silently for a while before I heard the rustling of tent flaps and Viggo's grasp on my arm let go completely. I opened my eyes the tiniest bit, watching as Viggo sat down in a chair behind his desk. My headache lessened as I started to get used to all the voices of the dragons among the island until, finally, it didn't bother me anymore. I opened my eyes fully and grabbed one of the chairs in front of his desk, spinning it around so that the back was facing the desk and I seated myself in it, crossing my arms over the back of the chair and resting my chin on them.

"I'm actually surprised you accepted my invitation." Viggo stated, looking up from some papers on his desk.

"Of course I accepted. We're friends aren't we." A small smile grew on Viggo's face.

"That we are, but I'm questioning why you haven't released any of the dragons yet." Viggo stated.

"You and I both know Hiccup and the other riders will be here to sabotage your auction. Why take their fun." I explained. Viggo hummed in agreement. "So, about our time together. What'd you tell Ryk?" I asked.

"I told him that I was out training a new recruit." Viggo stated, turning his attention to an important document.

"He bought that?" I asked.

"If you haven't noticed, my brother isn't the brightest of the bunch. What about you? What did you tell the riders?"

"I told them I escaped with the help of Thornbush, which isn't entirely a lie." I confessed, earning a chuckle from Viggo. Silence filled the tent once more, the only sounds being the rustling of the papers Viggo was looking through and the voices of the caged dragons outside. I looked around the tent for a while, the dragon scales that the tent was made of making me feel uncomfortable.

"If you aren't busy, could you do something for me?" Viggo asked, breaking the silence. I gave him a look that said 'Does it look like I'm doing anything?' before answering with a "What?" "I am keeping some bigger dragons in an underground tunnel system. If you don't mind, could you go down and feed them. I would ask someone else, but everyone is either working on strengthening the defenses or preparing for the auction." I looked at Viggo, dumbfounded. He really trusts me enough to feed his caged dragons alone.

"I... I haven't been here long enough to know where they are." I argued. Viggo rolled his eyes before digging through one of the desk drawers and placing a piece of parchment on the desk in front of me. I leaned forward in my chair to get a better look at it. After studying it further, I noticed it was a map of the island. I looked up at Viggo with a questioning look.

"It's so you can find your way around the island when I'm not with you." Viggo explained, "Now run along before I change my mind." I grabbed the map, got up from my seat, and ran out of the tent without another word.

<Hope you guys are enjoying so far! Yeah, Ryker isn't really my favorite character, but I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover. Also, I don't remember if I've mentioned this already, but I posted a "Various Truth or Dare" book that I started for the enjoyment of you all. Feel free to check it out and leave a truth or a dare in the comments. Until next time!>
