"I should have trusted my instinct. Dagur will always be a dirty, disgusting, lying-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hang on. Uh, Heather, I can't let you do this." Hiccup said, cutting her off just as she drew her double-headed battle axe.

"Hiccup, I-"

"Listen to Hiccup, Heather." I said.

"Dagur risked his life to save ours. All of ours. Why would he do that? Just to go right back to the dragon hunters? No, it doesn't make sense." Hiccup stated, his reasoning being logical as always.

"He's Dagur. Since when does anything he does make sense?"

"Yeah, okay, rarely. But, if you attack him now, you'll expose both of us and our dragons. Not to mention, Melia. Is that what you want?" Heather thought for a moment, not wanting to accept that Hiccup was right, but... well... Hiccup was usually right, so there was no arguing with him. "Look, I wanna get to the bottom of this as much as you do, minus the 'death by double-headed axe' part. We need to get Dagur alone and find out what he's doing here. There has to be some kind of explanation."

"All right. I'll play it your way, for now."

"Thank you, Heather. I know this isn't easy." Hiccup said as Heather folded her axe.

"Now, how are we going to get Dagur alone?" Heather asked. We all stayed silent for a moment, thinking.

"Leave that to me." I said finally, heading back through the forest towards the markets. I looked in the direction of the docks, noticing a couple of the hunters from earlier coming back. I walked up to them, stopping them in their tracks. "Have you two seen the hooded man from earlier today?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yes, ma'am. We were just speaking with him moments ago."

"Do you know where he might be?" The two hunters pointed to their left, my right. I nodded in thanks before heading in the direction they pointed to, going in search for Dagur. "Where are you, D the lunatic?" I murmured, looking around the area. After minutes of searching, I was about to go and ask another hunter for directions when I spotted Dagur's brown cloak in the distance. I subtly followed him, trying my best to not be seen. Problem was, even though I was being really sneaky it was obvious Dagur had noticed me following him because he started running. I growled at my stupidity and ran after him, trying to keep up with him while pushing people out of my way.

"Watch it." someone yelled at me as I pushed them out of my way. I turned my head, yelling an apology over my shoulder before turning back only to stop, realizing in the quick second I had taken my gaze off Dagur, I had lost him.

"My gods, Dagur. Why are you so difficult to catch?" I growled under my breath making my way to where I had last seen him. I looked around, searching for where Dagur could be the only hint to where he went being... his brown cloak? I kneeled down and grabbed the cloak, studying it. Why would he have dropped it?

"Alpha. Are you looking for this?" I looked up catching sight of Leafblender hanging in a tree, Dagur struggling in the grasp of his tail.

"Well, well, well. What have we here?" I remarked, smirking. As I studied Dagur, I noticed he wasn't wearing his armor. Instead, he had on a ripped tunic, brown pants under a dirty brown skirt, and a pair of boots.

"Please. Let me go. I'm just a poor vagrant living off scraps." Dagur begged, giving me a pathetic look. I raised an eyebrow at him, signaling Leafblender to drop him. He did as he was told, growling at the cowering Berserker before going back into the forest, cloaking. Dagur stared after Leafblender and, while he was distracted, I drew my new sword, holding the blade to his head. It was obvious he had heard me unsheathe my blade because he froze, slowly turning to stare at the blade just inches from his face.
