I stood by the Iron Mason's booth inspecting a sword with a beautiful engraving of a dragon in the blade.
"This is a beautiful engraving. Where did you get such a sword?" I asked the Iron Mason.
"Made it right here. The blade is made of Gronckle Iron so the tip of engraving the design is to do it while it's still hot." I held the sword in my hands, measuring its weight before swinging it a couple times.
"Light. Very well balanced." I noted, studying the sword some more.
"You can have it if you like. It'll be thrown in with the rest of the weapons you're purchasing." I looked up at the Iron Mason and nodded in thanks. He held out a sheath for the sword which I took, sheathing the sword before attaching it to my belt. I was about to inspect some more of the weaponry when a hunter nudged me, dragging my attention to the two hooded and masked people inspecting our load of weaponry. I walked up to them and took the arrow from the male's hands, glaring at him.
"These weapons are spoken for." I growled.
"Okay, yeah, well, I was just browsing, so, uh, no problem." the man stated, his voice catching my attention. I casually glanced down, immediately noticing his metal leg.
"Let's go. Clearly none of these are for sale." the woman who I now realized was Heather told Hiccup as she turned him around, the both of them walking away. I glanced over at the hunter who had pointed them out to me, catching him nod to two other hunters. Obviously, I wasn't the only one who noticed Hiccup's metal leg and realized who he was. Suddenly, a plasma blast hit next to where the hunters were, exploding a cart of apples, sending everyone in a panic. I glanced through the crowd of people and shrubbery at the edge of the forest to see Toothless hiding just behind some bushes.
"After them." I ordered the hunter next to me, pointing at Hiccup and Heather. He nodded, gesturing for a few others to follow him. When another plasma blast hit, I ran around the Iron Mason's booth and after Hiccup and Heather, hoping to catch up with them before the other hunters did. I ran through the trees, maneuvering through the area before finally catching sight of them. "Hey. You guys okay?" I asked, stopping in front of them. They nodded. Suddenly, a voice from down below caught my attention. I looked down to see the hooded man from earlier today standing on the docks with some of the hunters, talking to them casually.
"What's the matter?" Hiccup asked, drawing my attention to Heather who also seemed to have noticed him.
"Nothing, I thought I just-" Heather was cut off when all three of us heard a veryinsane and veryfamiliar laugh from the docks. We all looked down completely shocked when there, standing with the hunters was none other than Dagur the Deranged.
"That's impossible. We- We all saw-"
"I know what we saw. But that's Dagur."
"And from what I can see, I'd say he's working with the dragon hunters." I added as we all looked down upon Dagur.
<Whelp... Dagur's screwed and or girl Melia got a new sword. This is turning out to be a good day.>
