I didn't remember much from that day, just bits and pieces; I remember laying on the bathroom floor trying to figure out where I was, I remembered that dude walking into the bathroom to check on me, I remember him taking off my pants, and the weight of his body on mine and then nothing...... I think what bothered me the most was the fact that I knew what happened afterward, I just didn't KNOW what happened. I know it should bother me more than it was but I really couldn't find that anger that I knew I should feel for the dude who did this... maybe it's because Lavercier and Carter were both so pissed off at what happened that I felt like I didn't need to or maybe it had something to do with the fact that I just wasn't that type of person to hate someone. I looked over at Carter in his drunken sleep and smiled this dude was so angry all the time and it was sexy because his anger mainly came from a noble place and as badly as I wanted to wake him up, I decided to let him sleep because I was tired and I knew if I woke him up some bad things were going to happen. Without waking up, Carter reached around the bed in his sleep until his hand touched my arm, almost like it was an automatic thing Carter pulled me into his arms and nuzzled my neck and I swear I have never felt safer than when I was in Carter's arms.

"Ayy is something burning....." Carter asked as the fire alarm went off from downstairs and I jumped up and quickly ran to see what was burning, I'll admit that more than once I fell asleep more than once making Pizza Rolls so it wasn't impossible that I did it again, so when I slid into the kitchen wearing nothing but socks you can understand my shock when I saw my mom standing there.

"Mom...." I said quickly covering myself with a cookie sheet. "Uhh I didn't know you were coming home, what are you doing?" I asked nervously.

"Well I was going to cook for you and Carter but as you can see I still tend to overcook the bacon so you'll just have to settle for everything else." She said and I looked over at the table and saw a spread fit for a king. "So why don't you go put some clothes on, wake up Carter and come join me for breakfast." My mom said and I quickly backed out of the kitchen and ran upstairs.

"Is everything alright?" Carter asked walking out of the bathroom with his toothbrush hanging from his mouth.

"My mom is back from rehab and she's cooking, something she hasn't done since before Jayceon died." I said quietly. "I mean she seems happy and she's glowing and shyt but I don't know...... last time I saw her she wasn't exactly in the right frame of mind."

"Xi.... that's the reason she went to rehab in the first place was so that she can get in the right frame of mind to take care of you. I feel like you should be cautiously optimistic, give her a chance to prove herself but be weary." Carter said and I nodded. "Don't worry I'll be here to make sure nothing goes wrong now let's go eat." Carter said starting to walk towards the stairs.

"Uhh Carter you might wanna put some clothes on first." I said looking at his fat ass. After me and Carter got dressed we were sitting at the table with my mom and I wasn't really sure what to make of her transformation just yet.

"I heard you spent a couple weeks with your brother.... how is he?" My mom asked and I tensed up, Lavercier at last we talked was still on the warpath and since he couldn't seem to find that nigga Zelle he was taking it out on his opponents on the football field.

"He's coo... focusing on school and football, he'll probably try to make it up here for Thanksgiving and Christmas but that all depends on how his team does this season." I said picking at my eggs. "What's going on with dad?" I asked wondering how long they were going to keep his psychotic ass locked up.

"Well..... here's the thing Xion, I wanted to wait until we were alone to discuss it but since you brought it up..... I'm not going to press charges against your father, however, I have filed for divorce." She said and I was actually happy to hear it. We finished breakfast and my mom had some things to take care of leaving me alone with Carter, he was on Facetime with his daughter and I could see the joy in his eyes as she smiled at the sight of his face.

"Whatchu wanna do today Xi?" Carter asked as he hung up the phone.

"Whatever you wanna do... we can chill here, go back to Brittany Hills, or we can hit up a movie or something, but you gotta pay because I'm broke." I said smiling. "I'm good with whatever so you pick." I said messing with his ear.

"Nah you pick because I already have our next date planned out and I don't wanna hear your mouth about how I got to pick two dates in a row so you decide and we can do that. Come on it can be anything you want." Carter said but I was more interested in what he had planned for this next date. "Aight so you know how that nigga Devin lets us pick out five things we want for Christmas, well.... there just so happens to be a WWE event on Monday and they won't be back here for a while so I called and asked if he could get us some tickets as one of my Christmas gifts and I know you're a big wrestling fan and even though I don't like that fake shyt I knew it would be something you'd enj....." Before Carter could finish I tackled him to the ground and quickly had him pinned so he couldn't move, this summer I had done a couple workouts with Lavercier so I was a little bit stronger which meant Carter was having some difficulty getting me off of him.

"Say it's not fake." I said refusing to let him up.

"Nah man I can't even do it, you know 90% of the time I'd let you win an argument but I can't on this one.... I mean when I was younger I used to think that shyt was real but now....." Carter said as I started suckin on his neck. "Baby chill.... it's not going to..... fuck...... aight you got it." Carter said relinquishing all control.

"No, I wanna hear you actually say it." I said biting on his lip and Carter rolled his eyes as I went from biting to sucking on his lip.

"Aight it's real....... real fake." Carter said and we ended up spending the next ten minutes wrestling around until Carter accidentally kicked the corner of my bed. "That's whatcho stupid ass gets, but I figured out what I wanted to do today.... call up Ronnie and them, I'm trying to hit the cages." I said and Carter rolled his eyes again, The Cages were basketball courts on OSU's campus the were nice as fuck and you could always find people down there willing to play. "You said anything I wanted."

"Yeah, I know Xi... it's just now I gotta go home and change and I really don't feel like hearing Jace's mouth but for you, I'll do it....." Carter said getting up. I took a shower and we went back to Brittany Hills, thankfully Ronnie and Antwan were already here so we didn't have to wait for them and Antwan had called Zyn and a couple of the dudes from House 2 would be joining us, which was coo because even though the cages were relatively peaceful there was always that one nigga who like to run his mouth so it was always a good idea to travel in large groups.

"Ayy if we do teams I'm already calling Twan, Carter, and Xion.... last time we played against each other it turned into a competition that I'm not trying to repeat." Ronnie said as the inside joke passed between the four of us.

"Aight so it's me, Wes, Najee, and Fat Daddy....." Zyn said as we all stood in the kitchen, I looked out the doors and saw Jace and Josiah talking and judging from Jace's animated motions it was a very intense conversation.

"Trust me Xi... whatever they're talking about you'd have zero interest in. Come on let's go because I'm trying to get back in time to watch the game tonight plus there are some other things that we need to discuss." Carter said winking as he walked out of the kitchen. I didn't know what Carter was planning but I knew whatever it was I'd probably enjoy it, I just hope that he spent the night again because in truth the only time I ever felt safe was when I was with Carter...........................................
