I had everything ready to go, I had my bags sitting by my bedroom door, I had my emergency money, I had my super-duper emergency money, the last thing on my list was trying to figure out if I could get away with locking Fat Daddy's son in the bathroom because the way he kept smiling at my daughter had me on ten. Nah what really had me on ten was the way Corrina reacted whenever he'd come near her, trying to jump out of my arms knowing damn well her chunky ass can't walk, smiling and shyt..... Speaking of my daughter, I needed to get her the fuck away from them hoes that lived and House One... and no I wasn't saying that to be malicious they were proud of their hoe label and I've smashed more than a few of them. But that was before Xion, back when I myself was a proud hoe; Xion...... I really wanted to call him but I knew he was having dinner with his mom so I'd let them have that moment to rebuild their relationship. I walked over to Jace and told him to get Corrina away from the Thot Brigade while I stepped outside for a minute, my little bro was sitting on the hood of his car I could tell he was deep in thought because he didn't even acknowledge me when I walked up to him and tried to dap him up.

"Damn nigga you good?" I asked smacking him in the chest and Romeraux snapped out of his daze and nodded. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked as he seemed to disappear into his thoughts again.

"Bro I'm..... I'm fuckin horny.... like it's going on three days and I'm starting to get the shakes." Romeraux said laughing and I shook my head. "Nah I'm forreal, I'm not sure I wanna go through with y'alls plan, I know I'll be the first one out and I'm not trying to lose a hundred dollars to one of y'all niggas." Romeraux said and I smiled. Okay, so me, Tay, Ronnie, Dejon, and Romeraux got a little bet going on we're going to be doing No Nut November and to raise the stakes we each agreed to throw in a hundred dollars and whoever is left standing at the end of the month wins or splits the money.

"It's about willpower Romeraux but if you think you can do it, bow out now because 12am on November 1st is when it starts, I should be back by then and I definitely plan on getting as many nuts as I can before then." I said realizing that I only had a few days.

"It's not about me bro.... I'm just thinking about my hoes, I know they won't be able to go a whole month without fuckin me, I gotta think about them." Romeraux said and I shook my head.

"If they're hoes I'm sure they'll find someone but look we're having a little party or whatever, come in and get some food and chill....." I said hoping he would but he unlocked his doors (why would he locked them if he wasn't coming in, in the first place?) and got off the hood of his car.

"I wish I could bro but I gotta go meet up with this dude I've been talking to online.... some DL nigga, I haven't seen him but he assures me he's sexy." Romeraux said and I started getting nervous. "Don't worry we're meeting in a public place and if I feel like something is off I'll call and let you know." I was torn because I really wanted to go with him but on the other hand, I couldn't leave my daughter especially not around Fat Daddy's son. Then I got an idea.... it was crazy and I knew I'd owe him a favor but I wanted to make sure my brother was okay.

"Can you at least tell me where you'll be at so if you come up missing I know where to start looking?" I asked half-joking/ half-serious. Romeraux gave me the name of the place before getting in his car and pulling off, I walked inside and looked around for Josiah. "Ayy I need a favor...." I told him my plan and I knew he was looking for a reason to leave and dipped out without any questions.

"Ayy Devin wants to talk to you.... he's in the office." Masai said and I started to get nervous, it was like being called to the principle's office except it was a million times worse because this dude pretty much ran shyt in Brittany Hills.

"Relax, I just wanna talk... I've been having a conversation with all the people who have kids and you're the only one I haven't spoken to. So do you need help with anything, is your daughter good?" Devin asked and I nodded but didn't respond. "Big Mike also tells me that you're going to Atlanta.... I got some family down there so if you get into any trouble call them, they already know you're coming down there so I think you should link up with them since you'll be going on a college tour." Devin said.

"It's not really an official tour, Xion's brother goes to the University of Georgia and we're going to see one of his games. We'll be staying in Atlanta but most of the time we're down there I'll be in Athens." I said quietly.

"Umm... there's something else I wanted to talk to you about, I know you said that we could use your parent's house as another group home but I've been doing some thinking and I've come to the conclusion that I can't use it... it's a nice house but it's yours. Do with it as you want, it's yours and you should have it...." Devin said looking into my eyes.

"My parents were murdered in that house.... I don't want it." I said quietly. "Maybe I should sell it.... or burn it to the ground.... I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it just yet. But I should really finish packing." I said even though I was already done. I could tell there was something else he wanted to talk about, he just didn't know how to say it and I wasn't about to sit around until he figured it out because usually whenever someone took this long to say something it was probably bad.

"Here Carter, I don't do shitty babies....." Jace said passing me Corrina and I almost dropped her because she smelled horrible. I took Corrina upstairs and of course, she was crying and fighting me, I don't know what's wrong with her but when I finished I found out... Fat Daddy and his son walked into my room and instantly Corrina started laughing and smiling.

"Man keep your son away from my daughter." I said moving Corrina to the other side of the bed.

"Carter they're babies, they're friends.... leave them alone." Fat Daddy said moving to pick up Corrina and sitting here down with his son. "You all ready to go?" He asked and I nodded, then he started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked looking at him confused.

"I'm just trying to figure out how many times you're going to call and check on here while you're gone, I know for a fact my first outta town trip after my son was born I called every couple hours, this would be your what? Second trip and it seems like the older you get the more you'll call, I'm beating you'll be somewhere in the high eighties." Fat Daddy said laughing.

"Most likely... but can you blame me? I mean look how precious she is, of course, I'm going to want to make sure my little baby is coo.... she knows when I'm gone too, Bianca tells me that She'll start acting up if she doesn't see me for a couple days." I said looking down at my beautiful baby and thinking about how she doesn't give me any trouble, at least not until Fat Daddy's son comes around.

It seemed like time was moving at a snail's pace, I was so ready to hit the road and that's what was making time drag on. Bianca came to pick up Corrina who of course cried her eyes out when I gave her over to her mom, it nearly broke my heart knowing that I wasn't going to see her for a few days; once Corrina was all strapped in Bianca stood there and I already knew she wanted something.

"What man?" I asked hoping that she wasn't about to ask for more money, not that I had a problem with giving her more but I didn't want to give up my spending money.

"First of all lose the attitude, second... I uhh..... I'm seeing someone, actually I've been seeing him for about a month and he already knows about Corrina, he uhh..... he wants to meet her." Bianca said and my mind went to a million different places, I couldn't really say no because I had Corrina around Xion all the time, but Bianca knew Xion whereas I didn't even know the nigga she was talking to. "He's a good dude Carter, he has a daughter himself and he's got a job and his own place.... if you wanna meet him, he's already opened to talking with you."

"Can I..... can I have a couple of days to think about it, look I'm not trying to be a hater or stop you from having a life but this is a big deal and I wanna make sure I've given it plenty of thought.... Plus I wanna talk to your dad because if Brian has met him and he likes him then I don't have a problem with it because you know how your dad is." I said smiling and Bianca rolled her eyes.

"Whatever Carter, have fun on your trip." Bianca said hugging me before getting in her car and pulling off, I was about to go back inside when someone started honking I turned around and saw Xion and I swear that dude just........

"Just so you know....." Xion said getting his bags out the trunk and waiting for his mom to pull off. "I'm too excited to sleep so you'll be staying up with me all night." He said and I smiled, I guess I didn't have a choice in the matter, but I was already thinking about all the things we could do to keep ourselves entertained.......................................
