See I wasn't even about to entertain this nigga because one he didn't know me or my nigga to make such a stupid ass comment, but like I said I wasn't going to entertain his clown ass nigga. I proceeded to do what I was sent in the kitchen to do which was make sure these steaks were ready to go on the grill, since Black was probably... yeah he was playing 'Wetter' and 'Magic Show' by Sammie so he was going to be a while, I swear ever since I introduced him to those songs that were his go-to songs whenever he wanted to let it be known what him and Slim were doing. After going around asking how everyone liked their steaks I sat out back watching while trying to figure out what the fuck was going on with Antwan, it was subtle but I just felt like his whole vibe was off and maybe it was just me projecting but something told me that he was hiding shyt. As I stood by the grill, Breion and Mookie walked out back and I already knew they were about to start fuckin with me, Breion always messed with me because he claimed he was making up for lost time and Mookie was just a fuckin child.

"Ayy Terron why don't you go inside and I'll take over from here?" Breion said and I knew from his tone that Antwan was inside waiting for me, so I walked through the house and went out on the porch where Antwan was sitting by himself.

"Man what's going on with you.... all day you've been trippin and this was before Sir Michael called, in fact you been acting weird these last few days so either tell me wassup or get yo shyt together because I'm not going to be sitting here trying to figure out what's got you so damn pissed." I said feeling myself getting heated and Antwan looked at me and I saw nothing but anger.

"It's not you.... it's a collection of things, my parents being at the top of the list." Antwan said quietly. "Like you'd think I'd enjoy them always being gone and shyt but thinking back on it.... they've missed a lot and maybe I'm thinking too far ahead but what if they're not there for my graduation? What if they're not there for my last game? Just a bunch of shyt that's been eating at me.... like I hate coming home and the house is empty, I hate having to do everything for myself and I get that they're working hard so that I can have a better life and everything but no amount of money can replace moments."

"You should've just came to me and we could've talked about it..... and I get it, you're lonely but you should never have to feel that way especially when you're in a relationship." I said sitting next to him.

"I hear you and I'll try to do better communicating my feelings.... I still don't like that nigga Sir Michael though." Antwan said smirking and I rolled my eyes because he was so damn petty, but being around Jace taught me to be petty as well.

"You seemed to like his dick and ass just fine." I said smirking, remembering the look of pleasure on Antwan's face while Sir Michael was riding his dick and fuckin him.

"Nigga I was faking.... but we really need to discuss what colors we're wearing to Homecoming, I'm thinking red and black." Antwan said quickly trying to change the subject because we both knew he was lying his ass off.

"Purple and white." I said looking at him and for the next ten minutes, we argued back and forth about which colors we were going to wear until eventually we reached a stalemate and decided to postpone the discussion for later this week.

"Ayy come and take shots with us." Mookie said and I was surprised that Antwan jumped up, he wasn't a big drinker so the fact that he damn near ran in the house left me scratching my head... maybe I'm overthinking things but whatever. We walked inside and I saw Balck's friend Percy and dude kept staring at me, I didn't know what that dude's problem was but the way I was feeling I was about to ask him. So while Antwan, Mookie, and Breion all took shots I walked over and sat next to him.

"Bruh why do you keep staring at me? And what was that shyt earlier talking about Antwan is holding me back?" I asked looking at him.

"I've been to a few of your games... and you're good, but you tend to defer to your dude a lot, you give up a lot of open shots in order to make him look good when if you played a little more selfishly then your team would be a lot harder to beat.
