Sat on the edge of the bed that me and Chloe would be sharing tonight, I looked at my dress that was hung up on the wardrobe on the other side of the room. I still had to pinch myself to make myself believe that this was actually happening. I should have been so happy that everything had gone so perfectly for the past few weeks leading up to the big day, but that just made me worry even more - things still had time to go wrong. As I sat staring at it, lost in a deep trail of thought, I failed to notice Chloe coming into the room and shutting the door behind her.

"What's up with you?" she giggled.

"Nothing," I smiled up at her, still lost in a daze as I looked back at the dress. "Nothing's wrong. Everything's perfect."

"Then why you staring into space like you're gonna cry?" she asked, sitting down on the bed beside me.

"Just thinking," I smiled, shaking out of the daze.

"Well, why don't you get all glammed up and come join us all in the bar downstairs? The boys have gone for a game of golf so.."

"A game of golf?" I asked. "It's nine o'clock at night."

"Don't ask me," Chloe laughed. "I don't understand their way of thinking. I think it's just an excuse to go act like children for one night unsupervised with alcohol and nature. I wouldn’t look out the window in case you see Michael running around the golf course in the nude or Josh pole dancing with a golf club.”

I shuddered at the thought of either of those suggestions.

“So what do you say? A girls night at the bar with some champagne and cocktails?”

I smiled to her. "Fine," I grinned.

"Your mum said she'll look after Katy so we're child-free tonight."

"Apart from this little one," I beamed, gently poking her bump.

"Stop abusing me and get your make-up on," Chloe smiled, standing up. "You look ugly without any on."

"Thanks!" I laughed, chucking a pillow at her as she hobbled out of the room.

Fixing my necklace around my neck, I looked into the mirror and smiled at my reflection. I'd never been so happy before in my entire life. As I reapplied some more blusher onto my cheeks, my phone buzzed on the dressing table beside me. As soon as the second vibration happened, I picked the phone up and read the message.

"See I'm a man that don't believe in much, but I'll be damned, if I don't believe in us, and how we play a fight up in the bathroom, next thing you know I'm making love to you. Girl, promise me you'll never change. She ain't perfect, but she's worth it. Every breath I breathe, for the life of me. And I know I might not deserve it, but she loves me, and it's simply amazing."

I sang the lyrics along to the tune of Trey Songz' Simply Amazing in my head as I read the text. The text was from an unknown number but I knew exactly who it was from - George. A huge smile appeared on my face as I re-read the text again. As I went to put my phone down on the dressing table, it buzzed again. It was another text from an unknown number.

"I shouldn't have text you at all today as it's breaking 'the rule' but I couldn’t stop myself. I just wanted you to know that I can't wait to see you tomorrow and I can't thank you enough for making me the happiest man alive. I love you so much, Sammy Jones and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Grinning to myself as I read the text, I fought the urge to text him back. Placing my phone back down on the dressing table, I smiled at my background of George, me and Katy. "I love you, you loser.”
