Chicago. Known for its pizza, culture, baseball, Kardashian's and its crime rate. The perfect place for a crime boss to set up a classy, supernatural check point club and never get busted. It was the talk of the city, of the west really, having attracted all kinds of creatures. Open to all deals of such. Having already had one before, this was nothing for the boss. Only thing to do was to open, take over, and be discreet to not draw attention. Last thing a crime boss needs is someone snooping around, cops or supernatural beings.

Tonight was opening night and the place was booked for a few deals, some selling of things, and let's not forget the souls that would be consumed. Sadly a human blood bag had spilled some details to the public and even though no one believed him, it did drew the attention of a certain Detective.
Watching beings walk in and out, laughing as the night started. Detective Angelov slowly made his way in and found himself a seat at the bar. She watched as he watched the floor before nodding at Marcus to make sure everything was hidden from sight and all deals were successful. Glancing down, she quickly wrote on her napkin before she changed her mind.
"All is going according to plan, mistress," Marcus said from behind, "would you like me to summon..."
"No... just order him the usual with the special and have one of the girls give him this.." she stopped the faithful right hand man, reaching back over her shoulder to hand him the note. Marcus nods and walks away, her watching while it all unfolded. She pulls her jacket on once the sub hands the detective the note, the bartender sliding him a drink with a cupcake.
Immediately he stands and looks around, but she is already back into the shadow, retreating as her eyes glow softly.
"Fuck... Kylie..." he mummers and she feels his soul wince, reading the note again, 'enjoy and don't worry... everything is under control. Happy Birthday my beast... from your songbird.'
Nodding once more at Marcus, Kylie retreats into her office. Her eyes finding him again on the computer screen and she quickly wipes a tear away, the detective finishing his drink.
