Part Twenty-Three Date

Hoseok's POV

'Dad, what's going on? Why is Yoongi's mum here too?'
My father sat on my sofa, motioning for me to sit also. I stared at Yoongi's mum. She looks upset. Has she been crying?'
'Hoseok.' My father said. 'We have some bad news.'
My stomach churned. 'Where's Suga? I mean Yoongi?'
'Hoseok please, let me speak.'
'Dad just tell me he's okay. Why is Mrs Min so upset? Why does she look like someone's died?'
I felt sick to my stomach, a coldness swept over me. My father held me in his arms. He was crying too! Why?
'Dad tell me please!'
'Hoseok.' He said. It was barely a whisper. 'Yoongi is in hospital. He's in critical condition.'
My heart sank.
'No. No, he isn't!'
'Son I'm sorry. But, there's a chance he might not make it.'
'Don't say things like that dad! I want to see him. Right now!'
My father nodded. 'I'm here to take you and Mrs Min to see him. Get your jacket okay?'
'Okay.' I shook. My head was pounding along with my heart. I grabbed my coat and quickly put it on. 'Okay. I'm ready.'

Yoongi's POV

Hoseok is right here! I can hear him! Can feel him! Why can't I see him? Why can't I see anything? There's nothing but darkness. I keep running but it stays the same. There are no walls and I can't even feel my feet touching the ground. What the hell is this?!

Jungkook's POV

'Sophie.' I smiled at her across the table from me. 'I hope this place is okay. I come here a lot for my coffee. Most time I'm with the guys when I come here. But, I wanted you to see it. If you don't like it we can go someplace else.
'Jungkook.' Sophie giggled. 'Slow down. I love it here, it's nice and quiet. And I'm with you. I can't think of anything better than that.'
'Oh.' I felt my cheeks redden. 'Wow, do you think it's a bit hot in here? Maybe they need to open a window.'
'It's fine. But I think you are adorable when you blush.'
'I'm sorry. Im is nervous. I don't do well on dates.'
Sophie held my hand. 'Just be cool. I already like you so you don't need to worry. I already know I want to be your girlfriend. That's if you would like that?'
I gulped. 'Uh, yeah. I'd really like that too.'
'Good.' She smiled and leaned across the table, she was now very close to me. 'So kiss me already.'
Without hesitation, I placed my lips against hers. After a moment we broke apart.
'Does this mean you are my girlfriend now?'
Sophie laughed. 'Yes, Jungkook it does.'
I sighed in relief. I couldn't believe it! Finally, I had gotten the girl I had been dreaming about for months. It's just sad how we ended up getting together. Jimin said he is okay with it, but it still feels kind of awkward. I hope he finds someone that will love him as much as he deserves.
