After Colin and Evan left Jennifer and Evie sat on the sofa sipping cups of tea.
"So we are going to Vancouver...." Evie said.
"I guess we are. I honestly don't get it. Why does he want to go back?" Jennifer asked.
"I was just gonna ask you the same thing," Evie said.
"There are just so many memories there," Jennifer stated.
"You don't want to go back," Evie was able to read her mind.
"Not really. I know it's stupid, but the last time Colin and I were in Vancouver we broke up. Things are just so good right now-"
"Jen the place isn't cursed or anything. You guys arn't the same people as you where when you broke up. You and Colin love each other and your relationship has developed so much. That love will get you guys through anything," Evie said. "True love breaks any curse," they both giggled.

Colin had ordered at taxi for 6:00 am. Their flight didn't leave until 8:30, so they had lots of time. He just wanted to be extra cautious, as he needed to arrive in Vancouver by 11. Colin had planned their entire trip by the hour and didn't want to miss a single thing. Everyone was groggy and grumpy as they climbed into the taxi van. Evie, Daniel and Evan sat in the back and Jennifer and Colin sat in the middle row. Jennifer, Evie and Evan started to close their eyes.
"We need to get you some coffee ASAP," Colin put his arm around Jennifer.
"I would like some too," Evie said snapping awake.
"Me too," Daniel said.
"Can I have some too?" Evan asked.
"No," Jennifer and Colin said at the same time. They looked at each other and giggled. Even when it came to parenting Jennifer and Colin were still so in sync.
"How about a hot chocolate?" Jennifer suggested.
"Ok..." Evan said sadly.
"Have you ever tried putting cinnamon in your hot chocolate?" Evie asked him.
"Nope," Evan said.
"Well then you have to try it today. It's so good!" Evie told him. "It was always my favourite when I was younger," Evie said.
"Can I try it?" Evan asked Colin and Jennifer.
"Of course," Jennifer smiled. Evie would forever be a Oncer.

Before they knew it the taxi was pulling into LAX. They all stumbled out of the taxi while the driver retrieved their luggage from the trunk. In total there were only three bags. Two between Jennifer, Colin and Evan and one between Evie and Daniel. Colin, Evie and Daniel rolled the bags into the airport while Jennifer held Evan's hand. There were a few paparazzis at the entrance, so Jennifer wanted to keep Evan close. Blinding flashes invaded their vision.
"Jennifer do you have any new projects coming up?" One person yelled.
"When are you going to be stepping back into the spotlight?" Someone else asked. Jennifer knew to not answer any of the questions. She hadn't done any major project since Once Upon A Time. Just a couple of guess staring roles and she directed a few short films. Colin had done a couple of big movies so between the two of them they had more than a enough money to survive. If anyone had told Jennifer a couple years ago that she would soon be giving up her Hollywood lifestyle, she would have thought they were crazy. Even though being in the spotlight was wild and chaotic it was thrilling and gave her a sort of rush that she couldn't get anywhere else. However, once she got a taste of what it was like to find love and have a family, giving up her old lifestyle wasn't as hard as she thought.
When they got into the airport they immediately went to the check in machine. Colin had already checked them all in online, so they just needed to print their boarding passes. They briskly went through baggage drop, security and customs then all they had to do was wait. Colin looked at his watch. It was 7:30 which meant that they had an hour to kill. Colin checked the airport directory to search for a Starbucks.
"It's this way," Jennifer said taking his hand. When she was filming for Once Upon A Time she had practically spent half of her life in airports. She was constantly flying from LAX to YVR and she knew both airports pretty well. They all walked a little ways until they saw the familiar green awning. Colin ordered Four coffees and a hot chocolate with extra whip cream for Evan. When Evan had his drink in his hands Evie sprinkled some cinnamon onto the mountain of fluffy cream.

"Colin I am gonna take Evan to the shop over there," Jennifer pointed to the small conscience store. She was gonna buy him some snacks for the airplane and a magazine for herself.
"Ok. Do you need cash?" Colin asked.
"No I am good," Jennifer said then headed to the store. Colin watched Jennifer and Evan walk. She was so good with him. When him and Evan first moved in with Jennifer he was nervous about how Evan would respond. He knew that Evan was fond of Jennifer, but he was worried that things between him and Jennifer were moving too fast, as Helen had just passed less than a year ago. Though, moving in with her turned out to be the best idea. Within no time they were family, and Colin was the happiest he had ever been.
"So what's really going on? Why the sudden trip?" Evie asked Colin.
"It's not sudden Evie. I have been planning the trip for ages," Colin said.
"If you have been planning it for so long why didn't you tell me?" Evie questioned.
"Because...."
"And how much planning does a trip really take?" Evie continued.
"Evie," Colin said a bit louder.
"And seriously why Vancouver?"
"Evie would you please let me speak," Colin said.
"What?" Evie said annoyed. She was tired and the coffee hadn't kicked in yet. Colin took out a little black box from his pocket.
"Oh my gosh is this what I think it is?" Evie said excitedly. Colin nodded his head and then he opened the box to reveal a sparkling silver ring.
