"Are you ready for the best party ever?" Lana yelled from a black bus that had neon light blasting in every direction.
"I thought we were going for a simple and not crazy party?" Jennifer said uneasily.
"Come on, you need to relax and enjoy your last few days of being single," Lana hopped out of the bus and gave Jennifer a slap on the booty.
"Whatever," Jennifer rolled her eyes and boarded the bus with all of her friends.
"Drink this," Ginny handed her a glass filled with red liquid, "It will relax you," she smiled.
"What is this?"
"Juice," Ginny smirked. Jennifer took a sip of the bright liquid. It defiantly wasn't juice.
"Where are we going?" Jennifer asked.
"That's a secret," Lana yelled from the front of the bus.
"Oh I almost forgot these," Jamie walked towards Jennifer. She put a pink and silver crown on her head and a sash that said 'bride' in bright pink letters around her body. "Now you are ready," Jamie said. Jennifer took a long sip of her of the drink she already knew that this was gonna be a long day. Lana had texted Jennifer last night and told her to pack a bag. Her bridesmaids had decided to plan a destination party. Most of the wedding stuff was well underway, so a getaway wasn't that bad of an idea.
After around thirty minutes the bus finally stopped. "We are here," Lana jumped up from her seat. The windows on the bus where pitch black so Jennifer still had no idea where they were. She grabbed her bag from the chair infant of her and disembarked the bus. They were at the airport. How far were they going?
"How far away are we going?" Jennifer asked.
"Here is your ticket," Lana handed her the boarding pass.
"We are going to Las Vegas!" Jennifer said stunned.
"Yup, just for two days. It will be fun," Lana smiled.
"I thought we agreed on nothing crazy," Jennifer said.
"Don't worry. We can all take care of ourselves and each other," Lana argued.
"I should have packed nicer clothes," Jennifer joked.
"It's fine babe we can go shopping," Lana smiled.
Jennifer sat at the airport gate with Ginny and Julia, as the rest of the girls were getting snacks and drinks. She had texted Colin a couple of times asking him where he was going with his groomsmen and telling him that she was going to Las Vegas, but he still hadn't replied. He was probably having too much fun with the guys and Evie.
"Have you heard anything from Josh? Do you know where the guys are?" Jennifer asked Ginny.
"Nope," she answered shortly.
"Ginny I can tell you are lying," Jennifer giggled.
"Tell me please!" Jennifer begged.
"They are fine. Don't worry about it," Ginny tried to assure her. "Look here comes Lana and Jamie," Ginny pointed towards them. Their hands were full of bags of chips and vitamin water.
"Guys it's only like a two-hour flight," Jennifer said.
"Whatever, it's good to be prepared," Lana threw Jennifer a bag of Doritos.
They still had a lot of time to kill, as they weren't going to be boarding for another forty-five minutes. Jennifer scrolled through her Instagram mindlessly liking pictures. She hadn't had time to just do nothing in so long. It felt like she had been planning this wedding for years. Hopefully, it would all pay off and it would be an unforgettable day for everyone. Although, she knew that everything was planned and organized she was still afraid that something would go wrong. She wanted the wedding to be perfect. She and Colin deserved a special day after everything they had both been through. This wedding was going to be a happy beginning for both of them.
The plane ride went really fast. Jennifer sat beside her sister Julia and they spent the whole time reminiscing on their childhood. Lana had planned every minute of the trip. She had arranged an early check in at their hotel Caesars Palace. Next, they went shopping for the perfect party dresses at the Forum shops inside their hotel. Then it was time to get ready to go clubbing. They were going to the Omnia where Zedd was performing. Jennifer bought a tight bright red dress with a low back to wear. It was a little outside of her comfort zone, but her friends had insisted that is was the perfect dress. She paired her dress with tall strappy black sandals. She kept her golden hair down and she wore gold hoop earrings.
"You look so hot Jen!" Lana said approving of her outfit.
"Thank you," Jennifer said looking at herself in the mirror. She had to admit she did look really good.
The entire night was filled with dancing and drinking. Jennifer hadn't had that many drinks in years. "Girls I think I need to call it a night," Jennifer announced. She was sweaty and she felt gross.
"It's only one o'clock! Let's get some water from the bar and sit down for a bit. You will feel better in a little while, and then we can dance more!" Ginny said.
"Ok, Ok," Jennifer followed Ginny towards the bar. Ginny asked the bartender for a glass of water and handed it to Jennifer. She took a big sip as soon as the cool glass was in her hands.
"Could I please get a beer," Jennifer heard a familiar Irish accent say.
"Colin!" Jennifer yelled. She made her way through the crowded area towards him.
"Oh my Gosh Jen!" he embraced her.
"Ginny you ruined the surprise," Lana walked towards them.
"What?" Jennifer asked confused.
"We were supposed to have a boy free night today and then meet up with them tomorrow," Lana said. "Evie was supposed to take you guys to TAO today," Lana explained.
"Oh that's my fault. I insisted we go to Omnia because I wanted to see Zedd," Colin explained.
"That's so funny," Jennifer slurred.
"How much has she had to drink?" Colin asked.
"Too much," Ginny giggled. She was also a little bit tipsy.
"Ok Jen, let's go sit down," Colin took her hand and they went to find an empty booth.
