"Evie?" Jared walked up from behind her. He barely recognized her. She was wearing a lot of makeup and her hair was lighter. She didn't look bad, just different. A good different. She was still beautiful just as he had remembered.
"Oh my gosh Jared!" Evie threw her arms around him. Wow he looked good. Evie could tell that he worked out regularly. He looked like he was stronger than Daniel and he was also so much taller. "This is my boyfriend Daniel," Evie introduced him.
"Hey!" Jared said and then politely shook his hand.
"What have you been up to?" Evie asked. She hadn't seen him since she left Vancouver and moved to LA. That was shortly after Jennifer and Colin had broken up.
"I'm a video game programmer. I live here in Vancouver," he answered. Evie remembered that he had always loved playing video games.
"That's awesome!" Evie smiled.
"What about you?" Jared asked.
"While I just finished fashion design school, so I am hoping to get an internship or something," Evie said.
"Cool!" Jared smiled.
"I think I want to be a costume designer, but I am still unsure. I really like making formal dresses," Evie said. Even though Evie was hardly an artist, she really enjoyed sewing. She could envision a garment by just looking at a piece of fabric. Seeing her creations become a reality was so magical.
"Do you still live in LA?" Jared asked
"Yup Daniel and I moved into Colin and Evan's old apartment," Evie said. Daniel put his arm around Evie and gave her a little side hug. Evie smiled up at him. Jared couldn't help but be jealous. He had never forgotten about Evie. Jared had wanted to contact her multiple times, but it just didn't seem right. She had turned him down when he asked to be more than friends and he didn't was to seem clingy. As time went by it would have been silly to contact her after so many years. She had probably changed her phone number anyways.
"Maybe we could all go out for coffee or something. When do you guys leave?" Jared asked. He had included Daniel, but all he cared about was Evie.
"Yeah maybe. What's your number?" Evie asked.
"Same as before," Jared said.
"Ok cool. I am pretty sure I have your contact in my phone," Evie got out her phone and searched. "Yup got it!" Evie smiled looking at his profile picture. He looked like a little kid.
"Awesome! Let me know when you are free," Jared decided to leave it up to her. She would have to decide if she wanted him.
"I have missed you so much! I hope to see you soon," Evie gave him another hug and then walked away with Daniel.Colin rubbed the side of Jennifer's arm, "It's time to wake up," he whispered. Jennifer slowly started to open her eyes. She sat up and placed at the foot of the bed was a tray of food. "I got breakfast," Colin grabbed the tray and brought it closer.
"Wow, Thank you," Jennifer said impressed. There were pancakes, eggs, bacon and coffee. He had probably ordered room survive since their suite had no kitchen. Colin always knew how to treat her right. Jennifer took a sip of her coffee and nibbled on a piece of bacon. It was crunchy just the way that she liked it. While Jennifer ate Colin stared at her in awe. She was so gorgeous, and he was finally going to marry her.
"You can eat some too. There is way too much food for just me," Jennifer caught him staring.
"I love you," Colin smiled cheekily. He crawled closer to her on the bed and then before she knew it his irresistible lips were pressed against hers.
"What about breakfast?" Jennifer pulled away and inched her forehead against his so that they were face to face.
"To hell with pancakes," Jennifer giggled and ran her hands up his muscular body. She could feel his muscles flex. She planted small kisses along his neck, dragging her lips to meet his. As soon as their lips touched Jennifer felt her entire body tremble. Even though she should be used to kissing him by now, every kiss seemed different and made her hungry for more. She wanted to know all of him, every curve, every wrinkle every mark. Even when she thought she had seen everything he always revealed something new, he showed her something new. Jennifer wrapped her legs around Colin's waist and ran her hands through his hair. Colin tugged at the hem of her shirt trying to pull it over her head. She was soon tangled in it. Jennifer smiled and held back a laugh. He always seemed to be an expert at everything, yet he couldn't take off her shirt. She pulled away from him and briskly took off her shirt dramatically tossing it to the floor.
"Mmm much better," Colin mumbled.
"Your turn pirate," Jennifer smirked. She tucked her hands underneath his shirt and pulled it above his head freeing it from his body to reveal his bare chest. Colin pressed his warm body against hers. She felt a jolt of electricity ripple through her body. There was no turning back now. Jennifer deepened the kiss, her tongue wandering further into his mouth stroking his. Colin cupped his hands around her breasts and fingered her nipples. Jennifer's body immediately started to melt into his. Their bodies in perfect harmony with each other's. Both of their bodies abruptly jolted at the sound of Jennifer's phone. Jennifer thought that they could ignore it, but her thoughts and senses returned to normal and she started to shiver. Who was calling her? Whoever it was was gonna get it, as they had just killed all of the momentum that was billowing in Jennifer's chest. Her and Colin hardly ever had time to themselves, as Evan was always with them. Jennifer pealed away from Colin and picked up her phone. It was Lana, confusion flowed through her head, but then the events of last night started to arise.
"Sorry Lana, I will meet you in 10," She had totally forgotten that she had promised Lana that she would go visit Fred with her. "Sorry babe, we will have to finish this later," Jennifer whispered in his ear then kissed the side of his head.Hope you enjoyed the chapter! Please vote and comment what you thought 😉
