Once everyone was assigned a task the meeting as adjourned. They all agreed to meet again in one week. Hopefully by then the wedding would be well underway. Ginny went to Evan's room to check on the boys.
"Do you guys want food?" Ginny asked.
"No we are good mom," Oliver said not even looking at her. He was too busy playing his game.
"Evan do you want food?" Ginny asked.
"No I am fine," Evan said.
"I think your grandparents and your aunt are leaving now. Your mom will probably want you to say goodbye," Ginny said.
"She is not my mom and I don't want to go," Evan mumbled. What was up with his attitude. Ginny wasn't gonna take it.
"Evan stand up. We are going," She said sternly.
"Fine," he groaned and followed her out of his room. When they got to the common area Jennifer was giving Julia and her parents each a hug. Ginny dragged Evan towards the group. He resisted, but he eventually stomped over to them.
"Bye," Evan said.
"Bye Evan," Julia gave him a hug. While they said their goodbyes Ginny walked over to Lana and Evie who were cleaning the dishes.
"Something is wrong with Evan," Ginny whispered.
"We know we are on it," Lana said.
"We need to tell Jennifer and Colin," Ginny said.
"No!" Lana and Evie said sharply at the same time.
"Guys we can't keep this from them," Ginny warned.
"We need to it's our only choice," Evie said.
"It is not our only choice guys. They deserve to know the truth even if it may hurt them," Ginny argued.
"We don't have to tell them if it isn't a problem," Evie said.
"What do you mean?" Ginny could already tell that whatever came out of her mouth next was gonna be a bad idea.
"We could just talk to Evan and solve whatever problem he has," Evie proposed.
"Ok so let's say you guys talk to Evan alone and what if he doesn't listen? Then what are you gonna do?" Ginny creates a hypothetical. She wondered if they had actually thought their idea through.
"How hard can it be to talk to a 10 year old?" Lana laughed. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into. Whenever Oliver or Hugo were  mad or angry about something Ginny could never get them to tell her what was wrong. Both of them would rather shut everyone out than talk to her about their feelings. Ginny always hoped that they would grow out of it. She wanted them to know that they were loved and that they could trust her. However, they normally got over whatever it was fast, so it wasn't that big of a deal.
"Ok then... I will keep this secret for now. However, you need to clean up this whole mess by the dress fitting. If you don't I am telling Jennifer," Ginny said.
"Thank you, Thank you," Evie hugged her.
"Now we just need to keep Evan separated from Jennifer and Colin until we talk to him," Lana said.
"Maybe Evan can stay with Daniel and I. Then I would figure out what's going on and try to fix it. It will be like free baby sitting for Jennifer and Colin, so they will defiantly go for it. They always complain about not having time to themselves," Evie said. Jennifer and Colin had taken Evie in when she was completely broken. She hoped that she could return the favour by helping Evan out.

Ginny, Josh, Evie Daniel and Lana were all staying at Jennifer and Colin's house for dinner. Evie and Lana were going to use this as an opportunity to monitor Evan. Jennifer hadn't seemed to notice Evan's change in mood. She seemed to be too stressed about the wedding, but if she heard Evan call her anything other than mom she would automatically know that something was up. Evan was spending the whole day playing with Oliver and Hugo in his room, so he wasn't really near Jennifer, as she was in the living room with Lana, Ginny and Evie.

"So Jen maybe Daniel and I can take Evan for a few days," Evie tried to bring it up as casual as possible. All of the girls were sitting on the sofa Jennifer was on her laptop looking at wedding themes. They were trying to figure out a colour scheme. It was a relaxed environment and Evie thought that it was a good time to propose the idea of Evan staying with her, as Jennifer wouldn't think twice about it.
"Are you ok? Why do you wanna take care of Evan?" Jennifer asked.
"Well you need to focus on the wedding. You need to figure out a theme, decorations and you need to make a guest list," Evie thought quick on her feet to make up an excuse.
"Yeah Evie is right. Also you and Colin deserve some alone time to celebrate," Lana winked backing Evie up.
        "Are you sure?" Jennifer asked.
"Yes it will be fun. He loves having sleepovers at our house," Evie said. Evie and Lana were right Jennifer could benefit from some time to relax.

At the end of the night Jennifer had a better idea of what she wanted her wedding to look like. The ceremony on the docks was going to be very simple. She decided on rows of classic white chairs for seating and a wooden square archway with white chiffon and lots of flowers. They found a place to rent the archway, so they just need to contact a florist and buy some fabric. For the reception it was going to be elegant and whimsical. They were going to hire a lighting company to string fairy lights from the ceiling and around the wooden poles. Jennifer wanted the canary to look like a rustic garden. She was going to hang snaking flower arrangements from the poles and on the walls. Even though rustic weddings were so popular and had become somewhat common Jennifer still wanted one. Something about the fairy lights and the run down wood always made receptions so beautiful. It was almost like they were in a fairytale. The guests were going to sit on gold chairs around white table clothed
tables. All of her inspiration for the wedding come from google. She just typed in wedding on dock and rustic wedding. Googled never failed to amaze he.
"I think we have done enough planning for today," Ginny announced.
"We haven't figured out centre pieces or cutlery," Jennifer said. There were so many things to think of. She was afraid that she would miss something.
"Don't worry. We can figure that out tomorrow. Your priority right now is a guest list. I say you aim for a finalized list by your dress fitting and then a final final list that includes your parents and Colin's parents lists by the meeting next week," Lana said.
"Good idea. Thank you guys so much for helping out. I don't know what I would do without you guys!" Jennifer embraced them both into a hug.
