Colin, Evan and Daniel didn't get back until late that night. So Jennifer and Evie ended up having dinner by themselves.
"Sorry I didn't get back in time for dinner," Colin said crawling into the bed next to Jennifer.
"It's ok Evie wasn't feeling that great. We had a good time though," Jennifer said.
"What happened?" Colin asked.
"She's Fine don't worry," Jennifer said. Colin raised an eyebrow. Jennifer could tell that his mind was running wild trying to figure out what happened.
"Jared kissed her," Jennifer spilled. "Do not tell her I told you," She warned. Evie had told Jennifer that she didn't want anyone to know.
"Oh my gosh, but I am not that surprised. I always thought they would be good together," Colin said.
"Really? I think her and Daniel are good together," Jennifer said.
"I'm not sure if she really likes him," Colin said.
"How can you say that?" Jennifer asked.
"Evie fell in love with him when she was in grade 9. She has changed..." Colin said.
"Her and Jared met 10 years ago!" Jennifer argued.
"I guess..." he said defeated. He didn't want to argue with Jennifer.
"It's just she is really happy with Daniel. I don't want Jared to hurt her," Jennifer said.
"True. Jared lives in Vancouver. Long distance relationships don't work out," Colin said. Jennifer cracked a smile. Her and Colin both had lots of experience when it came to long distance relationships and heartbreaks. Colin moved closer to Jennifer wrapping his arms around her. Jennifer followed his lead bringing her lips to his. His tongue slowly slipped though her lips with no hesitation. Her entire body tingled at the touch of his tongue on hers. Colin deepened the kiss then rolled Jennifer onto her back.
"As much as I want to continue we should really go to bed," Jennifer said.
"Mmm... you sure?" Colin winked.
"Evan is in the other room too," Jennifer said.
"Ok then," Colin rolled back over so that he on his back.
"Night babe," Jennifer snuggled close to him.
"Goodnight Fiancé," Colin said making Jennifer smile widely. "Should I call you that from now on?" Colin asked.
"If you want to," Jennifer put her head on his chest.
"I can't wait to get married," Colin stroked and played with Jennifer's hair. It wasn't as blonde as it was when he first met her. It was darker, as it was her natural colour. However, her hair was still so soft.
"Me too," Jennifer said.
"Do you have any ideas?" Colin asked. He couldn't believe that this would be his second wedding. Last time Helen and her family had organized the whole thing. Colin was so young that he was too scared to share his ideas. Therefore, he just stepped back and let them handle it. This time around Colin wanted to be apart of the planning. He wanted Jennifer to have the best day of her life.
"Well Bex said she could help, and Lana probably could help out too," Jennifer said. "I am honestly not sure what I want," Jennifer used to dream about her big day when she was younger, but ever since her engagement to Jesse ended she stopped. She didn't want to get her hopes up again, as she was afraid that she would be disappointed and all the planning would be for nothing.
"Well lets start off simple... where do you wanna get married? What would be your dream venue?" Colin asked.
"Hmmm maybe in Vancouver," Jennifer said. After coming back she remembered everything that she loved about the city. It was so beautiful and she knew the place so well.
"Yeah that's a good idea. I think it would be nice to have our wedding here," Colin said. "When I asked you where you wanted to get married I was asking for a venue. I thought you would want the wedding in LA," Colin continue.
"LA is not special enough. I feel like Vancouver is more sentimental," Jennifer said.
"I agree that's why I proposed here," Colin smiled. "So venue?" Colin asked again.
"That's a hard one... it kinda depends when we wanna get married," Jennifer said.
"I was thinking soon. There is not really any reason to wait," Colin said. He was right, they had been living together for two years already and they were basically married already.
"How soon?" Jennifer questioned. She still wanted to have enough time to plan everything.
"Maybe like on a month or so?" Colin suggested.
"Do you think that's enough time?" Jennifer asked.
"If we have lots of help I think we can do it," Colin said.
"Ok how about we brainstorm venue ideas with Lana, Fred, Evie and Daniel tomorrow," Jennifer said. They were all going to the PNE the next day. It was gonna be a fun outing before they all returned home.
      "Sounds good," Colin said.
"Ok we better go to sleep for real now," Jennifer giggled.
       "Night Fiancé," Colin sung.

The next morning Jennifer was up before Colin. She had a shower and got changed then she sat on the bed next to him and stroked his arm. He looked so cute when he was sleeping she couldn't bring herself to wake him up. She just wanted to watch him a little bit longer, however his eyelids started to flutter open.
"Morning love," he said when his eyes focused on Jennifer.
      "Morning," Jennifer said.
"Dad hurry up and get ready!" Evan said entering the room. He was very excited to go to the PNE. Colin quickly got changed then they were off.

They picked up Evie and Daniel at their room then they headed to the lobby to meet their taxi. Lana and Fred were going to meet them there, so Jennifer sent Lana a quick text telling her that they were leaving. The taxi ride didn't take very long before they knew it they were standing in front of the PNE gates. Jennifer grabbed a map and an event schedule. The PNE was a fair in Vancouver that opened only a few weeks every year. However there was also Playland which was connected to the PNE that was open all summer. Playland was filled with rides and games Jennifer knew that Evan was going to spend hours there. While they waited in line to buy their passes Jennifer looked at the events. There was a dog show called SuperDogs, an acrobat show, a dinosaur exhibit, and a night concert. Jennifer knew that she had to go to the dog show. She thought that  Evan would enjoy it too. He kept asking for a dog, but both Jennifer and Colin were unsure if it was a good idea. Jennifer's dog Ava had passed away a few years ago and Colin's dog Buckley was given to a friend in Ireland. Jennifer and Colin loves dogs, but they weren't sure if Evan could handle the responsibility.
"So I heard you picked a date," Lana said interrupting Jennifer's thoughts.
"While not really. We decided that we wanted to have the wedding soon," Jennifer folded up the pamphlet.
"Finding a venue might be hard," Lana said.
"We want to have the wedding in Vancouver," Jennifer added.
"How about at a park? Like Stanley park or Queen Elizabeth?" Lana suggested.
"I think an outdoor wedding would be nice, but I'm not so keen on the park idea," Jennifer said.
"We want someplace memorable," Colin said putting his arm around Jennifer.
"How about at UBC? There are lots of great intimate areas there perfect for a wedding," Lana said.
"We want someplace that's sentimental," Jennifer thought.
"Well I don't think you can get married in storybooke," Lana joked.
"Maybe we can..." Colin got an idea. "How about we get married on the docks in Steveston," he finished.
"Oh my gosh! That's perfect," Jennifer squealed and wrapped her arms around him.
