"Oh my gosh!" Jennifer ran up to Ginny and gave her a big bear hug. Lana, Bex and Emilie were next to her. Jennifer gave them each a hug.
"I was just thinking about organizing a reunion!" Jennifer recalled her thoughts in the car. All of her friends gleamed at her.
"Umm Jen?" A familiar husky voice said from behind her sending a rush of energy through her spine. She tuned around briskly to face him.
"Did you organize this?" Jennifer asked. Colin nodded in agreement.
"Jennifer I always thought that everyone always had one shot at love. You find the right person get married and then have kids. Then I met you, and well my life turned upside down, but in a good way," Jennifer could hear a couple of laughs in the background, but all of her attention was on Colin. "I have held onto this ring for a long time," Colin pulled out a ring box from his pocket and flipped the lid open. Then he knelt down on one knee. "It's always been you Jennifer, I will always choose you. Jennifer Morrison will you marry me?" He looked up at her from the ground with wide eyes. Gosh he looked so cute in his suit.
"Yes!" Jennifer knelt down and threw her arms around him making him fall backwards onto the ground. "I love you," she whispered in his ear. They both stood up and Jennifer's cheeks turned bright pink. Colin slipped the glimmering onto her finger and before Jennifer could say anything else Colin brushed his lips against hers. Everyone around them started to clap. They had forgotten that their friends were watching.
"Did I top the last proposal?" Colin asked.
"Yes. This was perfect," Jennifer pecked him softly on the lips. Last time she had turned him down, but this time she would never dream of saying anything but yes.
"I brought your dress, so you can change," Colin said. Jennifer looked around everyone was wearing semi formal dresses and suits. She was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
"Thank you!" Jennifer kissed him on the cheek and went to the washroom to change. She quickly slipped out of clothes and stepped into her dress. Then she hurried out to meet her friends. Before she left she took a quick look at herself in the mirror. She puffed up her hair with her hands, in efforts to make herself look a little bit better. However, her eyes keep wandering to her left hand. She was finally going to be Ms. O'Donoghue after all of those years. She smiled at herself and walked out of the bathroom."Let me see!" Ginny grabbed her hand.
"Did you know?" Jennifer asked.
"Yes," Ginny gushed. "It was so hard to keep it from you," she continued.
"Congratulations Jen," Lana smiled. Jennifer was surprised that she came. After Colin left, her and Lana grew apart. With hook not on the show many fans wanted Swanqueen to be end game. Lana always encouraged the fans as she wanted to please them. However, Jennifer's heart still belonged to Captainswan and to Colin. Everyone knew that even the fans. Swansqueen shippers were angry at Jennifer for not supporting the ship. Jennifer and Lana both knew Swanqueen was never gonna happen, yet Lana always gave hope to the shippers. It had annoyed Jennifer so much. They had gotten in some pretty heated arguments during the last few seasons. Eventually Lana and Jennifer didn't talk anymore, as not talking was better than arguing.
"Thank you Lana," Jennifer smiled shyly. Jennifer had never told Colin about their falling out. That's probably why Colin had invited her.
"I am so sorry for everything. When Colin left I should've been a better friend to you," Lana said.
"Oh Lana, it's ok. It was a long time ago," Jennifer hugged her.
"It's not ok. I should've helped you. Fred and I got divorced at the end of the last season and well I now understand how you felt when you and Colin broke up," Lana explained. Jennifer had forgotten about her divorce. She had read something about it on Twitter, but Lana had never confirmed it to the public.
"I am so sorry," Jennifer squeezed her hand. It was hard for Jennifer to come back to Vancouver, she could only imagine how Lana felt. Fred's whole life was in Vancouver and he probably still lived there. It was probably like visiting Christmas past. "Did you go see him?" Jennifer asked.
"Not yet," Lana said.
"Are you gonna?" She questioned.
"I haven't decided yet," Lana bit her bottom lip.
"I can come with you if you want," Jennifer offered.
"That would be great, but you don't have to," Lana said. Her friend had just gotten engaged. She didn't want Jennifer to worry about her failed relationship.
"You helped me countless times Lana. The least I can do is help you get your man back," Jennifer smirked.
"Thank you," Lana said and embraced her.
"Jen!" Evie yelled and motioned for her to come over to where she was.
"I better go see her," Jennifer said. She started to walked towards Evie."I thought you were at the hotel with Daniel and Evan," Jennifer said.
"Aunty Evie tricked you," Evan laughed.
"I see," Jennifer ruffled his hair. "Were you in on it?" Jennifer asked.
"Colin told me at the airport, but they didn't know," Evie pointed to Daniel and Evan.
"So you and dad and are gonna get married now?" Evan asked.
"While not now, but yes buddy," Jennifer said.
"Do you have a date in mind?" Rebecca asked. Her and Max walked up to them.
"I have no idea. Wow I guess I will have to start planning," Jennifer laughed.
"Well if you need any help just let me know," Bex said.
"I will defiantly take you up on that offer," Jennifer gave her a hug. It was so nice to be around her old cast mates again. It was as if time hadn't passed at all. Jennifer watched Colin and Josh smile and joke around with each other. Emilie and Lana were catching up. Everything was just like it used to be.After a bit of socializing Colin set up a screen and he played old Once Upon A Time episodes. Everyone giggled and cried watching their former selves act. They didn't watch the episodes in any particular order. However, Colin had chosen a CaptainSwan episode to start. Jennifer and Colin's faces filled the screen. It was their first kiss. Jennifer watched as she grabbed Colin and kissed him passionately. She remembered that she had enjoyed that kiss a little too much and she had wanted to kiss him again. She had pushed the thought aside, as he was married at the time. Jennifer turned her head to face him. Their love story had been so complicated. There was lust, pain and confusion, but none of those feelings mattered as they loved each other. Love truly does conquer everything. Jennifer leaned her head on Colin's shoulder and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
