Everyone was counting down the days until the wedding. They were all going to travel to Vancouver one week in advance to make sure all the arrangements were in order. Everything was all planned. Jennifer had just bought her shoes, the caterer, the flowers and decorators were all booked too. Everyone was at Jennifer and Colin's for one final wedding meeting. They were all flying to Vancouver the next day. Jennifer and Colin were huddled around the coffee table trying to create a seating plan. The deadline to RSVP was yesterday and thankfully almost all 600 people replied. There were going to be around 460 guests in total for the reception. Therefore, they decided to have tables of ten.
"Ok so how about we have your six cousins and five of mine at one table?" Colin suggested.
"But don't you think they want to sit with their parents?" Jennifer asked.
"Nah I think it would be neat to have tables mixed with your family and mine," Colin said.
"I guess... but it's gonna be so much more work to mix everyone up. It's easier to just place people by family," Jennifer said.
"Hmm I guess," Colin scratched the back of his head.
"Well we could mix some people up," Jennifer suggested. She felt bad for knocking down his idea.
"Are you sure?" Colin asked. Jennifer nodded her head and brought her lips to his.
       "Get a room!" Lana laughed.
"You guys are supposed to be reviewing the checklist to make sure we didn't miss anything," Jennifer eyed her friends.
"We finished ages ago," Ginny rolled her eyes.
"So we planned your bachelor party," Lana smirked.
"Since you finished your task so early how about you arrange the Once Cast seating plan," Jennifer shoved a few guest list pages at her.
"Ok, ok," Lana picked up a pen from the table and started to arrange the names into grouped of ten.

After the seating plan was completed everyone started to file out except for Lana and Evie. Jennifer refilled their wine glasses and joined them at the kitchen table. Colin sat down next to her and draped his arm over her shoulder.
"Jared is going to pick us up at the airport," Lana said casually.
"All of us? He doesn't have room for everyone," Evie said.
"Well I am sure he will be picking you up," Jennifer raised an eyebrow.
"He will be driving Daniel and I... ugh this is gonna be so awkward," Evie complained.
"You and Daniel ok?" Jennifer asked.
"Yup better than ever!" Evie forced a smile even though a pain of guilt touched her heart. She couldn't stop pretending any longer.
"What's wrong?" Lana asked. She could tell that Evie was on the verge of tears.
"I haven't stopped thinking about Jared since we kissed and I keep trying to convince myself that Daniel is the one for me, but when I'm with him I feel like I am lying to myself and him," Evie confessed.
"You should talk to Daniel and tell him everything," Lana suggested.
"Daniel is too sweet. He will always forgive me. He loves me so much. I feel so bad," Evie said.
"Do you love him? Because that's what's important," Jennifer said.
"I thought I loved him and now I am just confused. I don't even know if Jared likes me," Evie rubbed her temples.
"Jared is crazy about you," Lana confirmed.
"Do you think it's bad if I break up with Daniel?" Evie asked the group.
"I think he will understand. He just wants you to be happy," Jennifer said.
"He is such an amazing person. I feel stupid for throwing our relationship away," Evie said.
"It's not stupid. It's the right thing to do," Lana wanted Evie to be happy. She didn't want Evie to force or pretend to be in a happy relationship if the love wasn't there. Also Lana secretly wanted Evie and Jared together. She had seen the trust and love they had for each other and she knew that if they took their relationship to the next step they would be unstoppable.

When Evie got back to her apartment Daniel still hadn't returned from work. That was his only flaw; he always prioritized his patients. She always told him that she didn't mind spending late hours at the clinic, but it would have been nice if he was home more often. Evie changed into her pyjamas then lied in her bed with a novel in her hands. As she read the last few lines of the first page she heard the door creek open.
"How was the meeting at Jennifer's?" He asked peeling off his clothes. Even in the dim lighting she could see his perfectly sculpted body. She was tempted to crawl across the bed and kiss him passionately. Instead she stood her ground and watched as he climbed into the bed beside her.
"It was good," she managed to peep out. Daniel raised his eyebrows. He could tell that something was wrong. "Everything is arranged and in order," She had to keep it together. She had promised herself that she wouldn't break up with him until after the wedding.
"That's great..." he said questionably. He wrapped his arm around her and squeezed her shoulder lightly in hopes to loosen her up. "You seem tense. Do you want a message?" He asked moving in closer to her.
"No I'm good," Evie lied.
"What's on your mind?" He asked. Lana's words of wisdom rang in her head.
"Daniel you are such an amazing boyfriend. You are honestly the kindest person I know. Even when we were in high school you were never a jerk. You always look out for me and I appreciate it so much-"
"Aww thanks babe," Daniel interrupted her and kissed her on the cheek.
"I think I am attracted to you for your kindness and well... I don't really know if that is a good thing. This is so hard to explain, but I think I'm in love with the sixteen year old you. I liked you so much back then and when I saw you again a few years ago I jumped at the idea of being with you because all those years ago I had yearned to be your girlfriend and I was finally getting what I thought I deserved. So that's why I don't know if I really love you. I think I am just in love with the idea of us being together," Evie tried her best to speak her feelings.
"So what do you want?" Daniel asked.
"I want to break up."
