Before they headed back to LA Jennifer, Colin and Evan had brunch with Jennifer's family. They had spent the entire time sightseeing so Jennifer hadn't seen them since the engagement party.
"I am so happy you are finally getting married," Jennifer's mom smiled. Jennifer was the oldest out of her siblings and her mom had always assumed that she would get married first. However, she ended up being the last. When Jennifer and Colin broke up her mom had encouraged Jennifer to date again. She even set her up on blind dates, however they never turned out well. Her mom always set her up with people like doctors, lawyers, businessmen, all men with stable occupations. Now she was marrying Colin. Jennifer never really knew what her parents thought about him. At first they seemed to think it wouldn't last. They thought that Colin was just like all of Jennifer's other boyfriends, A-listers who didn't really want a real relationship. When her and Colin first got back together her parents were worried that he would hurt her again. She never really got over their break up.
"So have you started planning the wedding?" Julia asked.
"Sorta... we decided to have it here in Vancouver in a couple of weeks," Jennifer said.
"Weeks?" Her mom questioned.
"Yeah that's really soon. Are you sure you have enough time?" Julia asked.
"We don't want to wait a long time..." Jennifer said.
"Where in Vancouver?" Her dad asked.
"On the docks in Steveston," Jennifer answered.
"Oh that's gonna be so pretty! It will be like a Captainswan wedding," Julia said. Jennifer had never really thought about that. Was this wedding turning into a Once Upon A Time episode?
"Julia will you be my maid of honour?" Jennifer changed the subject.
"Omg yes!" Julia stood up and hugged Jennifer tightly.
"When are you going to find your dress?" Her mom asked.
"I made an appointment at a wedding dress store in LA for next week,"Jennifer said. "Do you guys want to come with me?" She invited Julia and her mom.
"Of course we do," Julia smiled.
"Great! The appointment is at 2:00 next Saturday," Jennifer told them the details.
"This is gonna be so fun! I can't wait to choose your wedding dress," Julia said excitedly. She seemed to be more excited about shopping for a dress than Jennifer. Jennifer had actually already done the whole wedding dress thing before. She had even done a wedding dress photoshoot. Jennifer had prepared so many things for her and Jesse's wedding and none of it was even used, but that wouldn't happen again. Her and Colin were going to make it to the alter.

They were all at the airport early once again as Colin had rushed them.
"Babe we are in no rush to go home," Jennifer smirked.
"Yes, but we need to get home by tomorrow," Colin bit his lip. Jennifer had totally forgotten that it was the first Sunday in August.
"Don't worry we will make it back in time," Jennifer squeezed his hand. Every first Sunday of the month Jennifer, Colin and Evan went to see Helen. They used to go more often, but Colin was slowly starting to let go and Evan was too. Jennifer understood Colin's grief. Colin and Evan would always miss her. "Why don't you ask Evie your question?" Jennifer tried to lighten the mood.
"Ask me what?" Evie asked at the mention of her name.
"So Jennifer has been on me about groomsmen, and she keeps telling me that I need more people. So I was wondering if you would be my groomswomen," Colin said.
"Oh my gosh! Yes!" Evie squealed and jumped up and down. "Do I have to wear a suit?" Evie asked.
"It doesn't matter," Colin laughed.
"Do I get to plan your bachelor party?" Evie asked.
"Sure you can plan it with Allen," Colin said.
"Ahh this is gonna be so awesome!" Evie cheered.

When they got back to LA it was midnight. As soon as Jennifer, Colin and Evan got back to their apartment they collapsed onto their bed, They were all so exhausted from their trip. Evan didn't even make it to his room. He slept in the middle of Jennifer and Colin on their bad. Jennifer put her arm around him and he snuggled into her body at the touch of her. "He really loves you," Colin said.
"You think?" Jennifer loved Evan so much, but she always tried to be careful not to overstep. She didn't want him to thinks she was replacing Helen.
"Yes and you are such a good mom to him," Colin said.
"Oh I am not his mom..." Jennifer but her tongue.
"You have become his mom Jen. I am glad that he has you," Colin said.
"Umm ya..." Jennifer didn't know what to say.
"I love you Jen," Colin yawned.
"I love you too," Jennifer said.

The next day Colin, Jennifer and Evan went to the cemetery to see Helen. Jennifer made sure that Evan was wearing his best clothes and properly groomed. Then they were off. The cemetery wasn't far for their apartment therefore, it didn't take them long to travel there. They walked on the perfectly mowed lawn to her grave.
"Hey mommy," Evan said looking down at her tombstone. "Jen and Dad are getting engaged," Evan told her. The only time Even didn't call Jennifer mom was when he talked to Helen.
"I guess you were right Helen. Jen and I are meant to be," Colin smiled. As Colin said those words Jennifer recalled the night Helen told them that they belonged together. She was the one that ignited the flame. Helen gave up her happiness so that Jennifer and Colin could try being more than friends. They owed their love to her.
"Everything was perfect Helen. He brought everyone to Vancouver and he proposed at Main Street Brewery. The ring he picked is beautiful," Jennifer held out her hand displaying the sparkling diamond.
"I wish you could be at the wedding," Colin said. They all stared at her grave in silence for a couple of minutes. Colin nudged Evan signally that it was time to leave.
"I love you mom and I miss you," Evan said.
