I have been wheeling for a few minutes now when I find an off-road forest looking place. But I can't get there because the mud on the grass. Why is it muddy there? Nowhere else is muddy apart from the place I want to go. If that isn't discrimination, I don't know what is.I sigh and continue along the path exploring. There are bright coloured flowers lining the edges of the paths and then behind them is grass and the occasional patch of mud. Oh, the joys of living in a wheelchair. I mean from what I've seen so far, it's accessible here but apparently there is one class I have that is upstairs but there is no lift to use. It's an art class so I don't have it for a few more days according to my timetable which is great news I suppose. im gonna have to crawl up the stairs. Not the most flattering thing to do. But you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I had been wheeling for a while now and my hands were starting to hurt so I went back, eventually finding my way to James who was still there under the tree. He didn't speak much but I guess he's nervous. I hardly know him either to be honest. I check my watch and see there is only ten minutes left until break. I'm bored already. You know sometimes I wish I could just get up and walk about. Sitting on the job isn't as easy as you think people. I stayed on the path looking at James and noticed how he had amazing green eyes. They literally sparkled in the sunshine. I was in a trance clearly because I didn't see him look up at me and smile saying, "see something you like?" oh god. Abort mission. "Uh no. I was uh wondering what book you were reading?" lucky save Jai, very lucky. "It's noughts and crosses. Have you ever read it before?" he questions. The bell rings and I flinch. Gosh I love being easily scared. I look back over at him and see him chuckling to himself. "shut up, and no never. Uh do you want to come around to my house tonight? We could get to know each other better especially as you're going to be my helping hand, or should I say helping legs?" I giggle at that part and when I look back up, he was too. "uh yeah sure. Let me tell my mum. Whereabouts do you live?" he asks taking his phone out. "3 Claire close." I reply getting my phone out to let my mum know. She wouldn't question it at all because she will be in awe that I finally have a friend. "really? I live like two roads away from there." He states getting up. I send my mum a message letting her know she's picking up two people now when I notice James walking over to me. "uh you should probably move out of the way of the path. Loads of people are coming and I don't want you injured or being squished on the first day of school." He says chuckling a bit. He goes to grab my chair when I practically scream "Don't you heckin dare. Do not touch the chair!" backing away from him slightly. "oh gosh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to I just don't want you squished." He says in shock, probably because he didn't think I could scream at him. Dick. I see the group of kids coming closer and looking a little shocked and staring at me. Yeah, I get that a lot. I move back under the tree and watch him come back over and sit on the ground beside me, being careful not to touch my chair. Dick. "uh we should probably get going to our next lesson now." He says breaking the silence. "okay let's go." I reply. Nothing much else happened in the other lessons. It was lunch when everything kicked off.
