When I woke up later that evening Astro was still cuddled up beside me and James was also sleeping next to us. Cutie. But I mean what are we? We kissed once and haven't spoken about it much. I don't know what we are. Friends? Friends with benefits? Wait I do not want to be that. This was such a weird conversation to have right now but my head needed answers.

"James" I say while trying to tap him with my hand but luckily for him he was just out of my reach. "James." I say a little louder to try and wake him. I watch him stir in his sleep and then he finally opens his eyes. He groans a little but keeps looking at me, waiting for me to talk. Oh yeah I wanted to talk to him. Whoops. "Uh so, James, what are we?" I ask shyly as Astro starts to move about a little. "What do you mean?" He asks back with a smirk on his face. "You know what i mean douche." I reply. "Ohhhh now I get it!" He says sarcastically. "Dick" I reply. "I don't know. What do you want to be?" He responds. "I'm not sure. You're a nice guy but a real douche. Maybe if you prove to me that you're not so much of a douche then you'll get what you want. A relationship." I say popping the p in relationship. "Whatever!" He says loudly and scoots closer to me. He wraps his arm around me and Astro moves off the bed. "How dare you!" I say sarcastically to Astro with a little laugh. She seems unimpressed and just lays on the floor beside my bed. James falls back asleep with his arm around me and his head on my shoulder. Douche. I close my eyes and manage to sleep for a little while longer.

"Jamie wake up. Jamie seriously get up." James says shaking my upper body. "What!" I reply a little too annoyed with him. He woke me up what can I say? "Get up. Now. Get your ass out of this bed right now because we are going to eat food. "I made you dinner, well by dinner I mean beans on toast. But it's still dinner. Come on Jamie you haven't eaten much today." He says a little bit more softly this time. "If this is you trying to impress me. You can't wake me up and expect me to be impressed. Bring me the food I don't have the energy to get to the kitchen." I reply. He sighs but goes and gets the plate of food.

"Thanks." I say handing him the empty plate. I felt horrible. I really didn't want to eat but I had to. I hate being like this sometimes. He takes my food back to the kitchen and turns off my bedroom light as he leaves. "Are you going home now?" I shout. "Yeah. Hold on!" He shouts back. He comes back into my room with a glass of water and puts it on my bedside table. "Just incase." He says shrugging. "See ya later Jamie. I'll come round tomorrow in the morning after the gym. See you. Bye Astro." He says giving me a hug and petting Astro on the head before walking out my room. I listen as he closes the front door and slide back down into my bed. Time for some sweet sleep.

When I woke up in the morning my mum was standing in my doorway watching me. "Yup." I reply while turning myself over. "How are you doing sweetie?" She says walking into my room and sitting on my bed. Astro walks over and gets pets from my mum. "She's such a sweet dog." My mum replies when I don't say anything. "I know she is mum. Have you got work today?" I ask her. She is spending a lot of time at work recently but I know it's to cover the costs of Astro's training and everything. "Yeah I've got work today in a few hours sweetie. I'm sorry I'm barely around anymore. You know I have to work a lot to get money for things." "I know mum. I'm sorry." I reply. "It's not your fault dear. I blame your father. He walked out on us when you were born." She replies looking a little upset. "I best go clean up your mess." She says quietly and gets up. I know she hates my dad for what he did. But maybe he did the right thing. I mean who wants a disabled daughter? Clearly he didn't.
