I woke up to the smell of fresh brownies and let me tell you, the house smelled like a bakery. I look over to where James was sat before I fell asleep and he was sat there stuffing his face with the brownies. "Hey!" I pout. "Uh oh, I've been spotted. Abort mission." He says, slowly sliding off the sofa and onto the floor. "Give me some!" I whine. He crawls over to me and hands me the plate of brownies. "Thanks." I reply stuffing them into my mouth. The chocolate was a good call definitely, it was so gooey. I need five thousand more please. I always forget how good the brownies taste when you hand make them. I was in a metaphorical heaven.

Once I had finished the plate full of brownies James took the plate from me and took it to the kitchen. He returned a few minutes later and curled up on the sofa next to me. Half laying on my legs, half laying on the sofa. It's not like I can feel him on my legs or anything. I giggle out loud at that and he eyes me suspiciously for a while then goes back to watching the television.

James left to go home a few hours ago and in the meantime I was just doing homework in my room at my desk. I noticed a few of my journals had been moved but maybe I was making something out of nothing. My mum arrived home and came to my room and gave me a kiss on the head. "Wow it's getting messy in here." She states looking around. "Yeah I know mum, I've been slacking I'm sorry." She just smiled at me kindly and walks out my room. Strange. Once I had finished up all my homework I got to work on my room.

It took me an hour including break every ten minutes to get some energy back, but it looked pretty much spotless now. All my mum had to do was hoover and it would look good as new. "Dinner!" my mum shouts from the kitchen. I wheel in and go to the table. Chicken nuggets and chips today. Heck yes, get in my tummy. Once she had sat down I devoured the nuggets within minutes and was left to sit there and watch my mum finish eating. "Could you hoover my room for me please when you get the chance mum?" I ask. "Of course. I'll do it after dinner." She replies finishing up her food. I take the plates to the kitchen and wash them up while my mum hoovers my room for me. Once she had done I said thank you and kissed her goodnight. I was tired and needed sleep. So I got into my pyjamas and crawled into bed as usual. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.

I awoke a few hours later from the voices inside my head. My anxiety was kicking in for no reason but decided it must be heard. No one likes you. James is faking it, he doesn't really care for you. He just feels sorry for you like your mum does. You don't need Astro. You're faking it. You're faking everything. You're such a loser and a loner. I fumble around my side table in the darkness, someone had turned off my fairy lights, and I manage to find my phone. By now my breathing was unsteady and I was starting to shake uncontrollably all over. I put my earbuds in and played some music. Then the crying started. The thoughts were making it their mission to be heard and I was now on a full blown anxiety attack. I was laying there with my music in, trying to control myself, when I felt my body being pulled towards someone. I looked over to my side and James was looking at me, worry apparent in the urgency that he was pulling me closer to him. I let him pull me into him and I continued to cry and shake in his arms.

I managed to calm myself down a few minutes later and was so exhausted I fell asleep in James arms with my music still playing.

I woke up on Saturday morning still wrapped up in James's arms. He had moved my legs somehow and wrapped them around him. I wriggled out of his grip and went back to my side of the bed. I noticed my phone was back on the bedside table with my earphones still plugged in. I reached over for it and checked the time. It was 9:52 in the morning. Breakfast time. I grabbed my wheelchair and transferred into it, then wheeled into the kitchen.

I made myself a bowl of cereal and ate it at the kitchen table by myself. My phone had started ringing once I had finished so I picked up and it was Astro's trainer. "Hey Jamie! How are you?" She asks me. "I'm alright thank you. How are you and Astro?" I replied. "I'm doing great and I've got some really exciting news for you! Astro is done training early! She can come home to you whenever you want her!" She near enough squealed down the phone while saying this. Oh my gosh. My puppy is ready to come home. "Uh of course I want her home! Ahh when are you free? We can come pick her up! This is so exciting. You don't know how excited I am for this!" I squealed back as James walked into the kitchen. He looked confused at me but then he started to make himself a bowl of cereal. "That's okay I'll bring her to you guys. I've got your address and is this afternoon alright?" She asks. "Uh yes of course it is! I'll have to get her stuff ready! I'm so excited! I'll let you go so you can spend some time with her. But around three this afternoon is a good time. Thank you so much you don't even understand how excited I am!" "Okay that's awesome. See you later Jamie. Bye!" She says as she ends the call. I scream excitedly and this catches James by surprise because he drops his bowl of cereal and it lands on the kitchen floor. Milk had gone everywhere and his coco pops had also gone everywhere. He loudly swore and began cleaning it up. I laughed and just watched him. "Why did you scream?!" He asks annoyed. "ASTRO IS COMING HOME TODAY!" I shout back at him excitedly. "oh alright. That's a reasonable explanation to be screaming ridiculously loudly." I laugh a little and watch him finish cleaning up. In the end he grabbed an apple to eat and walked out of the kitchen. I laughed at this and followed him out into the living room, leaving my bowl on the table. He plopped himself onto the sofa and I just stayed in my wheelchair.
