Eleven

Chloe and Lea had arrived with Bandit and I moved out of my room and onto the sofa with everyone. We were just talking about their days and I told them what had happened with me in the morning. They both moved to either side of me and we had a group hug, Bandit of course was included. He was laying in my lap and giving me kisses at any given opportunity. I wish I had Astro right now, she'd be able to keep me safe and calm. Only a month or so to go before she's home for good.

"So uh, where's James?" I ask after a while of us chatting. "Uh, he's out with his brother." Lea quickly replied at the same time Chloe said "he's with another girl." "What?" We all say in unison. Both of them sighed and looked over at me. "He's out with another girl." Chloe said quietly this time. I don't know how to feel about that. Why didn't he just say? I just sat there feeling kinda numb. Still not really knowing how to feel. "Okay. What are we doing tomorrow?" I ask trying to change the subject. They both look kinda confused that it seems like I don't care but they still respond. "Well we will meet you at school in the morning and then after school me and Chloe have a project we need to complete as it's due in the day after tomorrow. Yeah we know we left it last minute you don't need to tell us." Lea said with a laugh. "How about we take Bandit out on a walk before we leave?" Chloe says. "Sure. Let me get myself sorted." I reply moving into my chair. I grab my coat as the others get their stuff together and get ready. I make sure I've got my phone and my keys before I leave the house and wait for the others to put their stuff in Chloe's car.

It was starting to get a little dark but we could still see and only planned on staying out for less then ten minutes. It was literally going to be a walk around the block. We were walking when we ended up on James' street. He did live a few roads down from me as he had already said. We were walking, well I was rolling, when we saw someone in the back of James's car. We all kinda looked at each other and then looked back at the car as we got closer. James was in there, with a girl and to top it all off. They were kissing, like full on snogging. Me, Chloe and Lea all locked eyes and I could see the hurt the felt for me. I awkwardly coughed and carried on wheeling. Yet again I don't know how to feel about this. We are not a thing and I mean I met him literally this week but he did kiss me on the cheek and he did sleep in the same bed as me. Fuck him. I knew he was a dick. But he did look after me. Well he has no choice, it's not like I can do things for myself is it. Honestly I should go back there and drag him out that car and slap him right across the face, but of course I'm not going to. I'm not that kind of person. Or at least I thought I was. No one said anything to me until we arrived back at mine a while later. "We're sorry you had to see that." Chloe and Lea both said quietly. "It wasn't your fault. He's a dick just like I thought he was. I'll see you guys tomorrow morning." I say as they get into Chloe's car and I wave goodbye, yet again pretending I'm fine.

I went inside the house and got some leftovers out of the fridge and began eating them. Once I had finished I washed up and went back to my room. I really need to decorate in here. I transferred onto my sofa and opened up my laptop which James had put back this morning. I just went on YouTube and watched Shane Dawson's conspiracy theories.

I was half way through a video when I heard the front door open and close. My mum wasn't supposed to be home for another two hours. "Hello?" I hear them call out. I sigh and stay quiet. James had made his way in, using the spare key. He's the biggest dick ever. He eventually finds me in my room curled up on my little sofa and he joins me, sitting a little too close. "Move over." I tell him. He does as he's told and moves away from me. "I'm sorry." He says giving me those puppy dog eyes and a little pout. This is gonna be hard. I'm not gonna forgive him that easily. "For what?" I reply. "For you finding out I was with the other girl." He says hanging his head. "What's the full apology?" I ask him. "I'm sorry for you finding out I was with the other girl. And I'm sorry you saw us kissing." He says standing up. "Okay." I reply. He looks mad at me and I'm guessing its because of the way I responded to his apology. As I said, he's not gonna be forgiven that easily. He walks out of my room and into the living room. I hear him throw himself onto the sofa and turn the television on.
