An hour later I'm still dancing, but George is standing across the room in a point where he can see me. I have found some friends and I'm dancing with them. As I dance, I see my friends losing their smiles and stop dancing. Alarmed, I turn to look behind me, only to find Christian looking at me with his hands on his pants' pockets

"Jesus! U're scaring people,Christian! And what is it with my exes tonight? Can't a girl just dance in peace?"

"Nice to see u too, Alex..."he says ironically

"Yeah, hi, can u leave now? George is looking at u..."

"U brought him here?? Oh God...why???"

"What do u mean why? He is my partner, of course I'd bring him!"

"What's going on here?"George asks when he is close to us

"It's ok, baby, he was leaving..."

"No, I wasn't. What do u even see in this guy? He is not what u want...nor what u need..."

"And how on earth do u know what I want or need? Huh? Because, considering your behavior from when we were together, u clearly don't know shit! And for the record, he is exactly what I need, ok? He is smart, caring, responsible, faithful and so much more!"

"Baby, u don't owe him an explanation..."George says

"Stop getting in the middle, dude! Let me remind u that I'm the reason u 2 met, ok?"Christian says turning his body towards George

"Well, if u put it that way, thank u! If it weren't for u, I wouldn't be with her right now..."He tells him

"Well, enjoy it while it lasts because it won't be for long! U're not made for this world, and the sooner u get that,the better for u...this world will chew u up and spit u out alive! Being with a celebrity without being one, is tough..."

"Christian! Enough! Leave! U crossed the line..." I say as I stand between them

"Remember my words Gal, u know I'm right..."

"He doesn't know shit! Ok? We love each other and we're perfectly happy! U have no right interfering in my life!"I yell at him and then turn to George that has his jaw clenched and his fists tightened

"Baby, relax...let's leave..."I say, rubbing his arms

"No, we're not leaving! He won't ruin this party! U were having fun and he just came and fucked it all up..." He says still looking at Christian

"Baby, please...he already ruined my mood, let's just go home..."

"I don't wanna give him the satisfaction!"

"I know, but it's my fault, ok? I knew he was gonna be here and I still came, so let's leave..."

"See what u did? Huh? U made my lady feel like crap and like this was her fault! U don't wanna see her happy, do ya? She's with u? She's miserable. She's not with u? u still want her to be miserable. What do u actually want, man? I bet u don't even know, but I do: u want her to be with u, because she's good for your ego! If she comes back to u, u will be able to walk around saying I made her come crawling back to me! Well, I have news for u,pal, she isn't coming back! She doesn't have one single reason to come back...u had her and u lost her, get used to it...let it sink in! But it's been a year and u're still hang up on her...it's killing u seeing her actually moving on-it's killing u seeing her happy! That's not love,man...u never loved her-not really...u were just used to have her around. And u might walk around saying how much u loved her and how much she meant to u or how many things u did for her and how ungrateful she is, but get your facts straight,dude; all u did was wrecking her...u were taking pieces of her every day! The girl I saw the first time I led my eyes on her,was a broken girl, and now? Well, now she's smiling and the sun covers its eyes...she is happy! And it's not only because she found someone to actually love her, it's also because she got rid of u...so, next time u think about saying that u loved her or that she's ungrateful,think twice!"George says making my eyes wet as I look at him with a slightly open mouth.
