*Natalie's POV

The people in Riverdale assumed that the waters had died down. That the tragedy of events had finally ended, but little did they know that it was just only the beginning. And that the little town they have come to known and love would come down in chaos.

I jolted awake to banging on my door. Whoever it was could wait. I laid back down to try and go back to sleep, but the banging continued. Damn it. I got up from my bed and threw on the nearest piece of clothing I found. I made my way through the trailer and yanked open the door.

"What," I yelled. It was Tall boy and a few other serpents.

"I got a call from your brother," I ignored Tall boy calling Jughead my brother and kept listening. Jughead and I grew up so close to one another, that we were practically brother and sister. When we were younger, people would ask us if we were related because of how close we were. We always just said that we were brother and sister, but after we both went our separate ways we stopped calling each other that. "Says to meet him at the hospital," Tall boy announced.

"Did he say anything," I asked crossing my arms now being fully awake.

"No, just said to meet him there, sounded urgent."

"Alright, we leave in five," I ordered looking at the other serpents. I closed the door behind me and rushed back to my room, sliding the closet door open.

"Who was that?"

"Fuck," I said jumping a bit. My mind was all over the place that I forgot he was here.

"Tall boy." I turned back around and pulled out a white v-neck and black jeans.

"What did he want?" I heard him get up as I rushed to pull up my jeans.

"Some job," I mumbled. He came closer and moved my hair out of the way.

"You look good in my shirt," he began to kiss my neck. I closed my eyes before coming to the realization that I had to go see Jug.

"What, no stop," I pushed him away, and pulled off his flannel shirt. "Maybe some other time, Pea." I pulled my shirt over my head. " I have to go take care of something with Tall boy and the other serpents," I made my way out of my room and into the the living room. I found my boots and pulled them on. I grabbed my serpent jacket off the living room floor. "Just let yourself out," I grabbed my keys and walked out leaving Sweet Pea alone in my trailer.

"Let's motor," I said walking towards Tall boy who was sitting on his motorcycle, that was parked right next to mine.

"What's up Danny," I nodded to the other serpent who was gonna be tagging along. He was one of the younger serpents that worked under Tall boy. I pulled on my serpent jacket and hopped on my motorcycle. All three of us turned on our motorcycles and headed in the direction of the hospital.

"Jug what the hell," I yelled as soon as I shut my motorcycle off. "I thought something bad happened to you."

"Yeah well not to me," I looked at him in confusion. "I was wondering about when you said the serpents had my back." Jughead turned his attention to Tall boy. "Does that courtesy extend to a guy who's like my brother, and a man who's like a second father to me," he asked. Wait, he's talking about Archie and his dad.

"Jug, what happened," I asked.

"Fred Andrews, my buddy's dad was just shot."

"Oh god," I whispered.

"It was during a robbery at Pop's, the guy was in a black hood." Robbery? Guy in a black hood? What the hell is happening?

"Serpents don't wear masks." Danny chimed in from behind.

"Yeah I know, but look Nat, some of those serpents were working for Fred, and for some unknown reason he decided to let them go, maybe someone took it personally and went rogue." He explained.

"Jug I highly doubt that happened," I sighed. "I was the one who picked what serpents would be helping out Fred." I paused. "And I highly doubt anyone of those serpents is that stupid enough to try and mess with my name."

"Listen Nat, you and the rest of the serpents know every hidey-hole in town, someone must have heard something."

"Alright." I sighed looking at Tall boy.

"We'll knock some heads," Tall boy spoke. "Let you know."

"We can't promise you anything though Jug," I told him and he simply nodded.

"That's what happens when you talk shit," I yelled in the serpents face. I looked at my brass knuckles. "You see what you do," I shook my hand making the blood on my brass knuckles drip. "Disgusting." I said pulling on the serpent's shirt, he winced in the processed. I grabbed the clothing material and wiped off my brass knuckles. "What do you think," I showed Tall boy. "Do they seem clean enough to you," I asked him and all he did was just chuckle.

The door pulled open revealing Jughead, he quickly walked in without even noticing us. He set his stuff down and looked up, finally seeing us.

"What the hell, guys?" He rushed over to us. "Nat, What the hell is this," he yelled.

"Went out like you asked." Tall boy stated.

"This guy was talking a bunch of shit in the Wyrm," I bent down close to the serpent's face. "Isn't that right," I whispered making him shake his head yes quickly. "Said that if Fred was gonna let Hermione Lodge run the show, fire his crew, then it served him right to get shot," I said standing up straight.

"So Natalie here, came up with the idea to press him a bit." Danny mentioned. "See if it was all just talk."

"And," Jughead asked.

"And after a lengthy cross-examination, we've concluded that he was just being a loudmouth." Tall boy got in the serpent's face.

"Why did you bring him here then, if he did nothing wrong," Jug stuttered coming closer to us.

"So you could see that we did what you asked," Tall boy said in annoyance. "So you and Natalie could tell your old man, that's important to us."

"And I will," I reassured the both of them smiling.

"With or without the jacket," Jughead looked at the jacket that was hanging by the door. "You're a serpent." Tall boy stated, making Jughead look around nervously.

"Tall boy, lets clean this up, and leave Jughead alone." I said motioning to our surroundings, trying to ease the tension.
