*Natalie's POV

"Sheriff Keller, what a surprise." Jughead scoffed as he opened the door.

"Jughead. FP. Natalie." The Sheriff nodded at us as he walked into the trailer. "Sorry to bother you."

"Yeah right." I mumbled as I got up and put my bowl of cereal in the sink. "I mean aren't you getting tired of this," I went to go sit back down. "Because hell, I know I am."

"We don't have General Pickens' head, and we do not know who stole it." Jughead sighed getting annoyed with the whole situation. Hell we all were! Sheriff Keller kept coming by and asking us all questions about it. "You know, Sheriff, these visits are starting to feel a lot like harassment," I nodded in agreement with Jughead. "There's absolutely no evidence. Zero prof whatsoever pointing to any particular group of subjects." Jughead pointed out.

"Well you did write a rather scathing article about the General's legacy, which promoted the Southside serpents to stop by at Pickens' Day with an ax to grin-"

"Woah, woah, woah... see now that's where you're wrong Keller." I got up from my chair and stared him down. "All we did was protest, that was all. You and I both know it."

"You know what, I'm actually writing a new article about how you seem to care more about catching a vandal than the Black Hood. Can I get a quote?" FP and I laughed at Jughead's comment.

"Let's see if you keep laughing when you're behind bars Natalie." I instantly stopped laughing. "Not so funny now is it?" Sheriff Keller taunted me.

"I think it's time for you to go." FP announced getting up from the table.

Finally someone said it.

"You know I like you a lot, right?" Sweet Pea nuzzled his face into my neck.

"Yeah, I know." I whispered.

"Is something wrong," he propped himself up on his elbow and stared at me.

"No nothing, it's just this whole thing with that damn statue." I muttered looking up at the ceiling.

"Hey," he brought his other hand to make me face him. "Don't worry about it." He leaned down and kissed me.

"Since when did you start going all soft on me," I joked as he pulled away.

"I need to tell you something." He said playing with my hair.

"What's wrong?" I stared at him getting worried.

"I think I lo-"

"What the hell?" I heard a noise come from my front door. "Hold on." I got out of bed and quickly pulled on my clothes and made my way to the door.

It was Sheriff Keller.

"What the hell do you think you're doing" I asked him.

"You're being evicted." What? "Just like the majority of the people here." I looked behind him and saw a bunch of serpents holding the exact same paper he had just stapled to my door. "Now if you will excuse me," he said turning back and walking away.

I rushed back to my room to slip my shoes on.

"Who was that?" Sweet Pea sat up.
