*Natalie's POV

"Why'd you lie to me?" I heard yelling come from the front of the trailer. "You told me the Serpents don't exist!" It sounded like Jughead. "They're at the Whyte Wyrm and they need our help!"

The Wyrm?

"No, what they need is to cut bait, get out while they still can!" I heard FP's voice.

I placed a hand over my bandage as I quietly got up from the bed. After being released, FP insisted that I stayed with them for a while just until I got better.

"Now, I wasn't lying when I said that it was over, Jug." FP continued to yell.

"What are you talking about?" I leaned against the door frame of the room as I tried my best to catch my breath and stable myself. They still couldn't see me.

"It is time to skip town." I watched as FP got closer to his son.

"I'm not going anywhere." Jughead argued back.

"You bet your ass you are." FP pointed at him. "Toledo," he put his foot down. "I already told your mom."

"No, I'm not leaving Betty." Jughead shook his head. "We are not abandoning the serpents." Jughead couldn't believe what his dad was saying.

"I will not be standing over a body bag with you zipped up in it." FP got in his son's face. "I almost lost you and Natalie." He stared him down. "We're moving to Toledo and that's final." He sighed. "But pack light, we're only taking the bikes and getting the hell out of here as soon as Natalie gets better." I finally decided to make my presence known and cleared my throat. They both turned and looked at me.

"Natalie," FP got closer to me. "What are you doing out of bed? You should be resting."

"Where are the rest of the serpents, Jug?" I ignored FP. Jughead had a smug look on his face.

He knew that I would side with him no matter what.

I wasn't leaving Riverdale and I sure as hell wasn't going to Toledo.

"Of course it's Tall Boy," I sighed in frustration as I heard Jughead out in the other room. "I'm such an idiot."

No shit.

"You think what Minetta said is true? That Tall Boy was the second Black Hood?"

There was no use in trying to get some rest.

"He's done Hiram's dirty work before." I heard as Jughead answered Archie's question. "He confessed to it, which, now that I think about it, explains why he died suddenly in a firefight. There's no loose ends. He can't implicate Hiram, ever."

"And now Sheriff Minetta can say the case of the copycat Black Hood is closed." I decided to get up from the bed and go into the kitchen.

"Hiram is gonna get away with it." I heard Jughead sigh deeply. "He's gonna get away with all of it."

"Nat?" Archie turned around as Jughead looked at me. "What are you doing up?" Jughead asked.

"How the hell am I supposed to sleep when I keep hearing you two bitch and moan," I shrugged and slowly walked over to the freezer.

"Shouldn't you be laying down?" I heard Archie from behind.

"Don't you have to go pick up Hiram's dry cleaning," I sneered as I pulled out the ice cream container from the freezer.

As you can tell I still wasn't over it.

I heard Archie scoff behind me as I swung open the top the cabinet door to get some bowls, but they were on the top shelf.

"Here, I got it." I felt Archie place his hand on the small of my back as I winced trying to get the bowls.

"Whatever," I mumbled and walked to the table.

"My dad's right." I glared at Jug. "You should be resting."

"Why don't you just shut the hell up, Jug." I replied as I stuck the spoon into the ice cream. "Vanilla and chocolate." I raised an eyebrow at him as Archie placed the bowls in front of me.

"Yeah," Jughead replied turning around and sitting up properly.

"What about you Red?" I stared up at him. "Plain vanilla, still?"

"Yeah," Archie cracked a smile and pulled out the chair sitting down.

"And on top of everything else, my dad, who's drinking again, wants us to move to Toledo." Jughead shoveled more ice cream into his mouth. "Just in time, too. Because Weatherbee wants to kick all the Southsiders out of Riverdale High."

"What?" I looked at him.

"Cause your little boyfriend went all psycho and destroyed the school." He rolled his eyes but then realized what he had just said. "Wait, I'm sorry." I sighed and just continued eating.

"It's fi-"

"Cheryl?" We all turned as Cheryl waltzed right into the trailer without even knocking.

"Zip it and listen." Well she was rude. "We have to get to the Whyte Wyrm ASAP. I've already called Toni to give her the heads-up."

"What's going on at the Wyrm?" I asked her.

"My mumsy warned me that Hiram Lodge's cyborg Sheriff is raiding your precious bar tonight." She explained. "And if things turn violent and some serpents end up shot, well, so much the better." I looked at Jughead and Archie.

"Let's go." I was about to get up from the table.

"Nat, no. You stay." Jughead ordered.

"What? Are you fucking insane?"

"Jug's right." I rolled my eyes at Archie. Of course he was going to side with him. "Don't worry, I'll call my dad and tell him to come pick you up. You'll be safe there and he will make sure you don't do anything stupid in your condition." I crossed my arms.

"Na-"

"Come on! We don't have much time." Cheryl tapped her foot cutting Jughead off.

"Fine." I gave in.

I watched as the three scurried off and left me all alone.

"Where are they?" I was so close to pulling my own hair out.

"They'll be here, sweetheart." Fred tried calming me down. "Don't worry." As soon as he said that I received a phone notification. I quickly got my phone and looked at it but shoved it back into my pocket as I saw what it was. "Any news?" I shook my head at Archie's dad.

"No, it was just a notification that my prescription is ready." I sighed. He simply nodded to himself as I told him.

Time felt like it was going so slow with just waiting on them to arrive.

I couldn't help but let out a small yawn. I tried my best to try and hide it from Fred but he saw me.

"Do you want me to help you up to Archie's room so you can get some sleep?" He asked politely.

"No," I shook my head. "I'm fine." I rubbed my eyes. The pain medication that I had taken earlier was finally kicking in. "I'm just..." I yawned again. "Gonna lay back for a bit." I slowly laid down but made sure to keep my feet off the couch since I still had shoes on. I felt my eyelids begin to get heavier and heavier.

"Get some rest." I felt my slip-on Vans being slid off my feet. "They will be here soon." I felt like I was being adjusted a bit and soon felt a blanket over me.

"Mhmm..." I hummed as I snuggled more into the blanket and finally let myself rest.

A/N: So I wasn't going to update but I did anyways. Well I had half of it written already so I just said screw it, I'll write a bit more and then update instead of just waiting. Okay, question. Should I continue writing in this book since season 2 is almost done? Or should I make another separate book, like a part 2? Because I have a lot of things planned for season 3. I don't know... Thoughts? Or should I just keep it all together? Anyways...
