*Natalie's POV
"You looked good out there." I called down to him. I got up from where I was sitting and walked down the bleachers. "Even in that ridiculous bulldog outfit." I stood on the last step to be at his height level.
"Yeah well these bulldogs better watch out, because they don't know what's coming." He smirked.
"Oh, getting cocky I see." I placed my hands around his neck.
"Just a little," he smirked. I pulled him closer to me. He laced his arms around my waist.
"You look so hot, right now." I breathed out.
"Yeah," he whispered, his hot breath hitting me in the face.
"I kinda li-"
"Sweet Pea," I groaned and pulled away from him.
"Oh I'm sorry." Fangs stammered. "We gotta shower..." He trailed off.
"Just give me a sec, will yo-," I interrupted Sweet Pea.
"It's fine, you go ahead. I'll just see you in Spanish later." I hopped off the last step and walked away from the two.

"Well, I have an amazing idea." I rolled my eyes and kept scrolling through my phone.
Why am I here again?
"Bring the omen to Pickens Day and we can all meet him. Everyone's coming right?" I scoffed.
"No, because the serpents weren't invited." Jughead told her.
"The serpents were specifically asked to come." Veronica argued.
"Yeah to what?" I locked my phone and looked at her. "To provide security for your little event." I spat.
"You don't have to work if you don't want to." She retorted.
"And my people do?" I challenged her but she remained quiet. "Yeah that's what I thought."
"The damage has already been done." Jughead spoke up. "Come on Nat," I sighed and got up. "Talk to you guys later." He grabbed his backpack and pulled it over his shoulder.
"Plans with Toni?" Betty asked clearly annoyed.
"Uh Yeah, I'm interviewing her grandfather for my oral history report." He told her, not having a clue to what Betty was actually referring to. "He's the oldest living serpent." He mentioned walking away.
"Don't worry Betty," I smirked at her. "I'll make sure they don't screw around." I winked at her and walked away laughing.

"Papa T!" I exclaimed as Toni opened up her grandfather's home.
"Natalie," I went over and hugged the old man. "It's good to see you again." We pulled away from each other. "You haven't came by in a while."
"Serpent business." He formed an oh with his mouth and nodded.
"Papa T?" Jughead looked at me confused.
"Yeah, Tommy here," I put my arm around Toni's grandfather. "Used to watch over me when I was little when your old man couldn't." I smiled. "Years later I ended up meeting Toni." I explained.
"Thanks again for meeting with me." Jughead spoke up as we all got settled into Thomas' trailer. Toni told me that you're one of the founding members of the serpents." I sat on the arm rest of the couch as I listened to Jughead.
"Yes," Toni's grandfather nodded his head. "The snake, the laws, it's all based on Uktena tradition." I nodded as I heard the story for the millionth time. When I was younger there were times where FP just couldn't be there for me, so he would place me in the hands of somebody else that he trusted, someone that would keep their eye on me, which was Toni's grandfather, Thomas.
