*Natalie's POV
"Thank you guys for helping me out tonight." I nodded at Jughead. "I know that this violates every strand of your DNA." He looked at Archie.
"Can you go any faster," I yelled at Archie.
"I'm going as fast as I can. We will catch up to them soon." He tried to reassure me.
I kept bouncing my leg up and down. I didn't like this at all.
"There." I exclaimed as I pointed to a gas station. There was the truck and the crate was still in the back. But I don't see Jughead or the man. As soon as Archie pulled into the gas station, I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped out of the car.
"They're not here," I turned to Archie after getting a closer look inside the truck.
"Come on, they might be inside." I nodded at him and we both made our way inside.
"We've all done bad things, Jug." I looked away from Archie and down at my coffee. "Ever since the Black Hood walked into this diner." Oh trust me, Archie. I've done way worse even before the Black Hood. "It's like he's making us do them." I stayed quiet and stirred my coffee.
"I was thinking about that guy who stopped for us tonight." I picked up my mug and brought it to my lips.
"You mean Mr. American Gothic." I muttered and took a sip.
"Yeah, he told me this tale about the Riverdale Reaper. I mean it might just be some twisted tale, but what if it's a lead." Jughead explained. "I was thinking maybe we could all go to the library..." Jughead trailed off.
"Reggie and I are taking Moose to physical therapy." Archie sighed. "And then Ronnie and I are having dinner with her parents." I looked at Jughead and he seemed bummed out. "But maybe the day after?" He looked at Jughead hopeful.
"Yeah, alright." Jughead breathed out.
"Can't you get out of this somehow, Jug?" And here comes Archie's anticipating questions.
"What part exactly?" Jughead retorted and sat back in his seat. "I can try." He breathed out, knowing that Archie was wanting an answer.
"I'll try and get him out of this mess, Archie." I spoke up. "I've dealt with the snake charmer before, I can do it again." I tried to put him more at ease.
"Thank you, Nat." He sighed. "Do you guys want a ride home? It's practically dawn." I looked out the window as Archie mentioned that.
I hadn't even realized.
"No, visiting hours start at sun up." I heard Jughead speak up next to me as I pulled out my phone and saw that I had some unread text messages.
Sweets 😏: are u home?
Sweets 😏: hellooo???
Sweets 😏: Nat, where are u?
Sweets 😏: Fine. Don't answer me.
Sweets 😏: Princess?
Sweets 😏: Natalie if you don't answer the damn phone I'm gon-
"Nat?" I looked up at Archie.
"Oh yeah, sorry." I shook my head and placed my phone down not being able to finish reading Sweet Pea's text.
"Do you need a ride?" He questioned.
"Nah, I think I'm gonna call Sweet Pea to come get me. He's been flipping out, trying to figure out where the hell I've been." I sighed.

"Where the hell were you?" I rolled my eyes. I knew he was gonna ask me questions.
"I got you Pops." I showed him the bag of food as I walked up to his motorcycle.
"That doesn't answer anything." He yelled taking off his helmet. I smirked. God, he looks so good right now. "You were gone all damn day yesterday!"
"Aw, is someone jealous." I tried teasing him.
"Nat, that's not funny." He got off his motorcycle. "I was worried about you." He stepped closer to me, towering over me with his height.
"For what?" I challenged him.
"Nat," he sighed and ran his hand through his hair. He was frustrated. "I told you why already." Oh.
"Yeah, well I was with Jughead." I shrugged and went to go sit down on the sidewalk curb of Pops.
"What the hell were you doing with Jones all damn day?" He asked taking a seat right next to me.
"He got into some shit." I stated. "Here," I gave him the bag of Pops. "Eat it, so we can get the hell out of here. I need some sleep." I rubbed my eye with my freehand. But he wasn't reaching for it. "Take it," I sighed, but he just kept staring at me wanting to know more about our little adventure. "It's a plain breakfast sandwich." He sighed and grabbed the bag from me.
" I know how much you like those." I commented, remembering when Fangs and Toni went to Pops one morning before school. They ended up buying Sweet Pea a breakfast sandwich and brought it to school. He was so excited to eat it but instead, they decided to mess with him and asked Pop to put extra ketchup in it. He was so pissed when he bit in to it, especially because Toni and Fangs kept laughing.
"What's so funny," he asked looking at me suspiciously.
"Nothing," I smiled.
"Is there ketchup in this," he was about to open up the sandwich.
"No," I exclaimed and stopped him before he could tear apart the sandwich. "I was just remembering the time T and Fangs did that to you." I laughed.
"Oh." He muttered. "Those little shits." He grumbled causing me to laugh.
"And don't think I forgot about you and Jones, either." He said eyeing me.
Of course he wasn't gonna let this go.

A/N: A little filler, but I wanted to get something up. I don't know, do you guys like these little moments Natalie has with Sweet Pea? He will be in them a lot more very soon. I just don't really want them to jump into a "real" relationship. If that makes any sense. Comment? Vote?
Enjoy. x
