I was laying in my bad, crying.There was no way I could forget about all the bullying and hate. No matter what I did. Someone knocked on my door. It was Ryland. He sat down on my bed and kissed my head. "I love you Rhonwen, you know that, right?" I nodded, "I love you too RyRy." he smiled and hugged me.

"Mum, why can't she say it sooner? The concert won't be over until two years from now!" she sighed, "Then we would have people breaking in to steal your stuff and people wanting free stuff... its just too much for all of us to handle. She can wait." I sighed and nodded. I ran upstairs to see Ryland leaving Rhonwen's room. "How is she?" Ryland looked at me,"She's crying ... a lot." I sighed and went into my room. Better to leave her alone.

I was still crying when I heard the door bell ring. I sat up, who could it be? I ran to the top of the stairs where all my siblings already were. They looked at me,confusion in their eyes. I shrugged. I did't know. My mum yelled upstairs. She had her wig on. Thats got to be bad. "Rhonwen your friend Sophie is here!"

I gulped and walked down the stairs as all my siblings ran to there rooms. Sophie was standing at the front of door. "Rhonwen I love your house! And you never told me that your mum was so pretty!" My mum must have heard because she smiled. "Sophie Sweetie, it good to finally meet you. Rhonwen won't ever stop talking about you." Sophie smiled, "all good things I hope." I smiled for the first time in forever even though it was a fake smile, it still ment a lot to me.
I led Sophie up to my room after carefully looking to see if siblings were hidden. I closed my door and locked it, before sitting on the bed. "Okay, what's up?" Sophie gave me a look. "Well, first of all, I have to give you a big hug since you father passed." I looked down. I didn't really want to think about that. she must have noticed because she gave me a hug before quickly changing the subject, "And also, we have a project in class that we became partners for." I looked up quickly. Thats right! "Sophie, I don't think I will be coming back to school..." I whispered.

She gave me a funny look. "Rhonwen, what are you talking about?" I looked away. "i'm gonna get my mother to home school me." she gasps. "Rhonwen, you cant leave me alone to deal with...with our teacher a-and jade! That's not like you! We have been together since kindergarten!" I sighed. "I am sorry Sophie. We can still see each other but I can't go back to that...that place." next thing I know, Sophie stands and she was walking out the door.

"Fine, but don't expect me to come crawling back to you when you need me most." my door slammed and I flinched. My idea has caused me to lose my best friend.

I sighed and walked out into the hall where five heads were peeking out. "Rhonwen are you alright?" Rocky whispered. I just shook my head and walked down stairs. My mum had taken her wig off and was cooking dinner. I walked up to her. "Mummy can I be homeschooled?" she looked at me shocked "what? Why would you want to be home schooled?" I just looked down. "please?" I whispered.She sighed and hugged me, my siblings joining in seconds later. "I'll think about it my darling."
I nodded and sat in the middle of an Lynch hug that melted away my stress and pain. I sat quietly as we ate Dinner silently. No one spoke. We were all thinking about what I couldn't guess but I knew for a fact it wasn't happy as soon as I finished my dinner, I stood and walked up to my room. I sat down on my bed and as soon as I laid down,

someone knocked I groaned and smushed my face into my pillow. "Go away!" the door opened anyways and Sophie walked in "You really want me to go away?" I looked over surprised "Sophie? I thought you hated me . What are you doing here?" she sighed "I felt bad I totally got mad at you for now reason I shouldn't have acted the way I did...especially when you were upset about your dad." I winced slightly at the mention of dad. "Do you mean it i'm so sorry I shouldn't have even thought about leaving you." Sophie smiled "It's ok Rhonwen . I don't care if you are home schooled. I am strong. I can take care of myself. You just have to come see me as often as you can. Alright?" I smiled back at her. "Alright, it's a deal, I love you soph." I say as she hugs me. " I love you too Rhonwen." I walked downstairs, after Sophie left, all smiles.

My mum frowned at my happy look. "Rhonwen, dear are you alright? What did your friend have to say?" I grinned. " She excepts me being home schooled and we can still be friends!" she smiled. "Oh, baby. Thats wonderful!" my mum runs over and pulled me into a hug. "I'm so happy for you!" Ross and Ryland barrelled down the stairs and into the kitchen, their hair mess after being under a wig for an hour. "Do we smell pancakes?" They questioned in unison. I laugh as my mum nods. "Everyone's favourite breakfast for dinner!" We all cheer as Riker, Rocky and Rydel all walk down the stairs and we all sit around the dinner table.

"So, today seemed to be pretty good." my mum grins I smiled as I look around the table"Yeah. Definitely a day to remember." "Rhonwen?" "Remember we will be there for you!"
