Haven't met you yet

So we got back from our Honeymoon about a month and a half ago and let's just say somethings have changed; me and Travis have moved into our own house curtsy if my parents but I am going over to the family home later today.

When I walk in All my siblings are in the living room getting ready to watch a movie as we all planned on having a family movie night with out husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends and children I go in the kitchen and take a pickle out of the jar and eat it. I go upstairs to my old room. My appointment is at 4 and it's only 3:00 so I still have a half hour until I have to leave.
What will my sibling think when I tell them? What will my parents think? What will travis think? I slide down the back of my old door, how will I tell them? I need to find the perfect moment to tell them. My biggest worry is how will Riker react since he didn't react well when I said me and travis slept together When 3:30 comes I grab my keys and go downstairs.
"I'm going out" I tell Riker
"Where?" he asks
"I'm just going to the mall for a couple hours" I say before leaving
"What about movie night?!" Rocky whined like a baby
"Not in the mood sorry maybe next week?"
"Fine" Rocky said as I slumped back in the sofa. he always loved family movie night all cuddled up under blankets me usually on one of there laps.
I unlock my car doors and get in. I start the engine and back out of the driveway. I turn up the radio and sing along on the drive to the appointment. I arrive at the office at 3:54. I park and go in. I walk up to the secretary sitting at the front desk.
"Can I help you?" she asks nicely
"Yes, I have an appointment today at 4" I say
"Name?"
"Rhonwen" I say
She punches my name in the computer "Ah yes you're seeing Dr Hart correct?"
"Yes" I say
"Ok you can take a seat in the lobby and wait for your name to be called" she says
"Ok thank you" I say before taking a seat
After about 10 minutes a nurse comes out and calls my name. I stand up and follow her into the back. She shows me to a room, takes my vitals, and tells me the doctor will be in shortly. After 5 minutes of waiting the doctor comes in.
"Hello I'm Dr Hart. You must be Rhonwen" she says
"Yes" I say
"Great so I'm going to get some blood tests as well as a urine test first then we'll do a full body examination while we wait on the results, and if you truly are pregnant we'll get an ultrasound" she says
"Ok. How long do you think the test results will take?" I ask
"About 10 to 15 minutes. We should be finished with the full examination by the time the results come in" she says
"Ok" I say
"Ok so I'll have someone come in with the stuff" she says as she goes back out
Two minutes later a nurse comes in and takes blood and then hands me a cup to pee in. After I gave them my pee Dr Hart started on my full body examination. She asked me when my last period was, and did I use any contraceptives.
"Everything seems fine" She says "I'll be back with your results"
I wait on the bed for about 5 minutes before she comes back in.
"Ok so you are pregnant, and you're 7 weeks along" she says
"Ok" I say
"I'm going to give you some prenatal tablets to take. We're going to do an ultrasound today so we can hear the heartbeat. and then we'll schedule another appointment for when you're 11 weeks" she says
"Ok" I say
"Do you want to know some cool stuff?" she asks
"Sure" I say
"During week 7 the face begins to take shape with ear holes, some pigmentation in the eyes, and tiny nostrils. Teeth are beginning to develop. Fingers and toes are forming as the limbs lengthen but there are no individual digits yet. The beginnings of elbows can be spotted. The digestive system (intestines) and stomach start to form. The circulatory system becomes more complex, the lungs begin to form, and the brain continues to develop.Also, your baby is about the size of a pencil eraser. During this week you will continue to experience fatigue. Morning sickness does not just occur in the morning but any time of day. Eating well can help you get through the day. You may also be experiencing cravings and aversions to certain foods and smells.You will also use the batroom more frequently. Eating crackers can help with nausea so you can always try that." she says
"Ok" I nod
"If you want you can download a pregnancy tracker app. It'll tell you how the baby grows and some tips that can help. Now can you lie down and unbutton your shorts and pull your shirt up to just below your breasts" she says
I do as she says and she puts a paper gown over my lap as she sets up the ultrasound equipment. She turns off the lights and turns the machine on. She takes a bottle of blue gel from the cart and comes over to me.
"This might be a little cold" she says before she squirts the gel on my stomach
She moves the gel around with a scanner piece until she finds the baby. She presses a few buttons and then little thumps come through.
"These thumps are your baby's heartbeat" she says
My eyes start clouding with tears as I look onto the screen. She points to area on the screen where a little ball is at
"This is the baby. Only the size of a blueberry or pencil eraser" she says "Would you like pictures?"
"Yes" I nod
She presses another button and the screen freezes. She takes the scanner off my stomach and wipes off the gel.
"I'm going to go get your prescriptions and your pictures. You can fix your clothes while I go do that" she says before leaving the room
I button my shorts back up and pull my shirt down. I look in the mirror and wipe my tears away with a tissue. The doctor comes in and hands me the pictures and prescriptions as well as some papers of information for weeks 7-10. I thank her before leaving the room. On my way out I stop at the receptionist and schedule another appointment for my 11 week check up. By the time I leave the office it's almost 6:30 so I stop at Mac Donald's on the way home. I also stop by the mall and get a few bras in a bigger size because the ones I've been wearing have been getting too small. When I get to my mums home I see that my mom's car is in the driveway. I walk in the house and into the kitchen.
"Hey" I say
"Hey honey. Where have you been?" she asks
"Just out with some friends" I say
"Ok there's leftovers in the fridge" she says
"I stopped somewhere on the way home" I yawn
"Ok as long as you ate" she says
"Yea" I say sitting down at the table and putting my purse and bag from the mall on the table
"What'd you get at the mall?"
"Some bras"
"Why?" she asks
"I think puberty decided it wasn't done and decided to make my boobs bigger" I laugh
"Very funny" after the conversation with my mum I run up stairs to my old room and hide the sonogram.
"I am going home I will see u guys tomorrow" I shout to my siblings, receiving a chorus of 'okays' and 'see you' . I don't know why I am so nervous it's probably because I Haven't met you yet.
