Lucy stared in complete and utter shock at Alexander who was smiling lustfully up at her. Her hands were trembling slightly as she stared on in silence. A0192? Lucy didn’t understand why he was associating that name with her. The gun was shaking along with her hands as Lucy felt her throat dry up and her muscles tighten up underneath this man’s gaze. Why am I so afraid? The image of a fire danced before her eyes and she took steps back, nearly tripping over her own feet. Alexander started laughing as Ian caught her.

“Lucy, are you alright?” Ian asked but Lucy didn’t answer. She stared at the man with round eyes and several warning bells were going off in her head. The image of a chain-linked fence filled her mind and she roughly shook her head. She looked at Alexander as rage enveloped her. She didn’t know why she was so enraged, but something about this man made her blood boil with an undying hatred. She pointed the gun and shot him in the left leg, her body now shaking from rage.

“Lucy what’s gotten into you?!” Brady said as he tore the gun from her grip. Lucy didn’t look at Brady; her eyes were glaring at Alexander. She didn’t know why she suddenly shot him again. But something was telling her that this man deserved.

“Get the car,” she growled and she could tell that Ian and Brady were shocked by her tone. She got irritated and yelled. “That means NOW!” Ian and Brady ran off, leaving Lucy. She grabbed the collar of Alexander and brought his face close to hers. “Who the hell are you?”

“My, my, what a temper,” Alexander said with a cruel smile. “I guess it’s coming back to you.”

“I have no idea what you are talking about,” Lucy said venomously. She tightened her grip. “But if you value your life I suggest you tell me.”

“Don’t tell me you forgot all about the facility you were in,” Alexander mocked and Lucy looked into his eyes as she tried to understand. “You shared a cage with about 200 others.” At those words Lucy released him, staring at him in shock. Brady and Ian showed back up and Brady slammed Alexander into the ground. Lucy stood there staring at the ground, a bewildered look on her face. Images were flashing through her mind and the screams of children echoed, banging up against her eardrums. Lucy grimaced and closed her eyes, covering her ears with her hands.

“Lucy?!” Lucy felt her hands being removed from her ears and she looked up into the confused face of Ian. She looked towards the ground as emotions began to stir up inside of her.

“Is something wrong with me…?” Lucy whispered and Ian quickly shook his head.

“I think the mission is starting to get to you,” Ian said but Lucy picked up the uneasiness in his voice and she felt her heart sink a little. “Let’s go back and question him, alright?”

“Okay…” Lucy said as Ian released her wrists and she walked back to the car.

“I’m not putting his bloody ass in the backseat!” Brady said and Ian rolled his eyes. “I’d prefer to keep this car clean.”

“Throw him in the trunk then!”

“Can I tie him to the top?”

“Brady, be realistic! Come on we gotta go!” Grumbling to himself, Brady hauled Alexander up and had Ian popped the trunk. After tossing Alexander in and making sure he was tied up, Brady got into the car. Brady was allowing Lucy to sit up front and she paused at the door, her hand resting on the car door. She shook her head to clear it again before getting in and slamming the door closed. Ian spun the tires in the parking lot, taking off down the street towards an abandoned alley. Lucy sat in silence as Alexander’s muffling was heard through the backseat. Brady had duct taped his mouth shut so he couldn’t say anything else and Lucy felt extremely grateful.
