I felt myself wake up, although I didn't open my eyes. I took a minute to feel around me. The air was still hot and sticky, hard to get a proper breath; indicating the fires weren't put out yet. The ground was cool underneath me and I smiled inwardly as I knew I was still on the ground. The pain in my leg was intense and I silently cursed Lucas. But that didn't matter. The wound would heal. Lucas had fallen into my trap. I knew he would come save Ian and Brady. He was the only one left that knew about me. I had figured out that Cody had told him a few details and I intended to cut away loose ends. What an amateur. I heard commotion going on to the left side of me. I heard the word ‘bomb’ and I smiled at it. They did search me. I figured they would so that's why I created the bomb to stop the search. That way they wouldn't find my gun and drugs. I opened my eyes slowly and saw an ambulance over to the side, and several fire trucks still putting out the fires. Ian and Brady were standing near the ambulance getting checked. I watched as few FBI agents were collecting evidence around the attack scene, and I scowled to myself when I saw them confiscate my wasp knife as evidence. I really like that knife. I guess I'll just have to get a new one.

I rolled my eyes over into the opposite direction and saw Lucas talking to a bomb squad as they hovered over the bomb. I felt groggy as I moved an inch and cursed Lucas again. After hitting me over the head, he must've drugged me to make sure I'd stay knocked out. Luckily for me, I was used to drugs. What do you know, my Dad actually did something useful for me. I slowly slid my right hand underneath me and fumbled around in the insides of my jeans. I felt the syringe taped to my thigh and I tore it off. I brought it back up and stabbed myself in the stomach with it, injecting the drug. I waited and felt the drug take effect, that warm liquid coursing through my veins and making the pain subside. My senses became sharper and I felt myself revive. I slowly sat up as the pain in my leg disappeared and I looked. No one was looking at me; they were too preoccupied by my bomb. I pulled the detonator out of my bra and looked over at the squad. I got to my feet and pulled out my gun as the dark smile crept across my lips.

Ian happened to glance over and he saw me. He didn't have the chance to say my name as I shot the medical doctor through the head. The gunshot echoed throughout the streets and then I pressed the button on the detonator. The bomb clicked and I watched as Lucas dove away as it exploded. The bomb squad was covered in the fiery explosion, the explosion itself taking up that entire corner. I smiled as the fire started up again. I tossed the useless detonator over my shoulder and took off down the street. I heard the yells behind and knew Lucas, Ian and Brady were following. I turned a corner and kept running, the twisted smile on my face growing with every step. I turned another corner and stood in the middle of the road. After waiting for a moment, I turned around to see Lucas, Ian and Brady pointing their guns at me, breathing heavily.

“I’m surprised to see you up and running,” Lucas breathed and I chuckled. I shrugged my shoulders.

“You’ll have to try a little harder for that,” I said. I took a few steps to the right. “How did you like my bomb? Clever, wasn't it? I designed it myself.”

“I wouldn't feel so accomplished knowing it took out an entire squad,” Brady hissed. I laughed at him.

“That's when you know it was effective!” I bellowed as I laughed. I closed my eyes as the smile on my face vanished. I opened them and stared at the ground. “This is too easy, Lucas.”

“I'm well aware I made it easy,” he stated and I looked at him, a murderous glint shining in my eyes. “But knowing you, if I didn’t come, Ian and Brady would be dead.”

“That’s also true,” I replied as I gave a murderous smile.

“What do you mean?” Ian asked as he looked at Lucas.
