Hey guys! Sorry it took awhile to get this chapter out, I had a lot of stuff going on. But here it is, so I hope you guys really enjoy it. Thank you for reading :)

Lucy stood on the balcony of their hotel room, leaning against as the wind ruffled her hair. She has a grim expression on her face as she watched the traffic in the streets below. Brady and Ian were out of the room, apparently gone out to seek out information. Lucy was told to stay in the room due to her methods of gathering information. Ian had explained everything he promised too; he explained common sense, the difference between male and female, and how normal people would treat another. Lucy huffed to herself as thoughts swirled around in her head, trying to put all this information into sense. Why did Hunter not tell me anything about this? Lucy thought sadly as she walked back into the room and shut the door behind her. She looked around the room with musky eyes. She was getting used to sleeping out in the open and not behind the bars she’s been used to all her life. Hunter had me in there to protect me. But why is it that there’s not a difference without them? I still sleep fine; the only thing that bothers me is the darkness of the room. Lucy put her hand to her head, her head suddenly throbbing with pain. Lucy recalled the vision of the fire she saw a few days ago but she couldn’t remember what it was. Lucy couldn’t tell if it was important or not. Lucy walked over to her bed and sat down and put her head in her hands. Nothing was making sense to her anymore. She was having an internal battle from what she was taught when she was young to everything she was learning now. Have Hunter and Cody taught me wrong?

“Nothing is making sense,” Lucy muttered to herself. Why couldn’t she figure out the answers? Something was feeling as if it was missing and the harder Lucy thought about it, the more her head began to ache. Footsteps were sounding in the hall and Lucy looked up to see Ian and Brady walk into the room with a big box in Ian’s arms. “You’re back,” Lucy said, trying to sound cheerful although she was hurt that she didn’t get to go.

“We found something out,” Brady said as he sat down on his bed. Ian still stood with the cardboard box in his hands. “Our target will be coming into the city tomorrow.”

“Really?!” Lucy said excitedly as she smiled. “We can finally do something,” she said with a devilish smirk.

“This is where you’ll be able to come in,” Ian said with a gentle smile. “But before we start talking strategy, I felt bad about leaving you behind today. So we brought you a little something.”

“Brought me something?” Lucy asked as she tilted her head to the side. Ian set the box down and Lucy peered inside, her curiosity getting the better of her. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open a bit when she saw the movies with different and unique pictures on them.

“We bought you some Disney movies,” Brady said as he leaned back on the bed, putting his arms behind his head. “Lucky for us that we have something that can play DVDs.”

“You…bought all these,” Lucy said as she picked one up and then looked up at Ian. “For me?”

“We figured we owed you,” Ian said with a wink. “Besides, you’ve never seen any of them have you?” Lucy smiled and then was confused. What was this feeling she felt? It was odd. There was a warm feeling inside of her chest and stomach and she felt the need to smile.

“You’re happy,” Brady said with a smirk as he closed his eyes. “It’s an emotion. Get used to it.” Lucy looked over at him and snorted. It had become obvious to them when she was confused about something and had a question that needed an answer.

“So this is what it feels like to be happy?” she asked as she smiled, picking up the movie that had ‘Mulan’ on it. “I don’t think I know what ‘being happy’ is.”
