Chapter 7-Confessions

~~Niall's POV~~

I couldn't sleep well that night. She was all I could think about. The way she acted at the park. She looked like the Darci I knew. The one that loved everything that was nature. The outdoors. Any thing that was far away from her duties and responsibilities. And she looked like she loved every minutes of it. Doing nothing but laying under the stars. I wasn't paying attention and walked right into Louie and Liam. They fell on the ground. For a minute, I didn't know what to do, but then I helped them up.

Louie-Hey mate, whats getting at you?

Me-What are you talking about?

Liam-Your staring into space. All the time.

Louie-Either that or your staring at Darci-oh wait I got it! Your finally ready to talk to her about the way you feel.

Me-No. She doesn't feel the same.

Louie-I think she does. You don't see it.

Liam-But we do. The girl is falling, hard, mate. And you've got to catch her, before you lose her.

They were right, but how do I talk to her about it? I'm clueless about girls, all girls. Well except for Darci. She's the easiest person to understand. She's like an open book to me, and me to her. I don't know why she hasn't been able to tell how I fell.

Me-So how do I do that?

Liam-I don't know, but here comes your chance.

Darci was finally awake. And she was walking down the hallway that Louie and Liam and I were talking in. She looked really tired like she hadn't gotten any sleep. Liam and Louie walked past her, saying good morning. She walked up to me and hugged me. I was kinda confused, but I hugged her back, like I always do.

Me-What's wrong, lucky duck?

Darci-Nothing, I just didn't sleep that well. You weren't there when I woke up.

Me-I'm sorry. I needed to go for a walk, to , you know, clear my head.

Darci-Oh, well Zayn and Harry were there, waiting for me to get up, so we could talk. I just needed to tell you something. You probably don't feel the same way, but I have to tell you.

Me-Okay, go ahead.

Darci-*deep breath*I think I'm falling in love with you and I'm really scared that me telling you this will make it awkward for us to be friends. But Harry and Zayn said that if I didn't say anything they would drowned me in the pool.

She talked really, really fast. So I had to think about what she said. Once I understood what she said, my heart started beating faster and I smiled really big. I put my arms around her and held her tight.

Darci-So does that mean you feel the same way, or you, you know, don't?

I didn't say anything. I just loosened my grip around her. I looked in her eyes, and then I kissed her. She looked a little shocked, but kissed back. It felt so right. Amazing, just like everything else about her. Her lips were soft and smooth. My left hand came up to hold the side of her face and my right hand was on her back, keeping her close to me. Everything about this kiss was perfect. I never wanted to let go, but she would have to breath. And so would I. After a minute longer, I had to let go, cause I didn't think I'd last any longer. She was breathing really hard and so was I. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

Darci-Wow, that was.......wow.

Me-I-know.

Darci-What does this mean?
